Last update: October 10th, 2022

Thank you for your interest in Chasm: The Rift! This document explains a few important details. Yes, it's a legally binding text, but as you will see, we really stripped it down to the essentials.

1. Agreement. This agreement is between you and SNEG Ltd. registered at Office 409b, 182-184 High Street North, E6 2JA, London, United Kingdom. It has legal force and binding power. We may update this agreement in the future.

2. Crash Reports. The game uses a third-party service for the purpose of collecting crash dumps and logs strictly related and generated by the game, so we could better understand the nature of issues you might encounter. Such crash reports are generated automatically on your computer in the event of a game crash and then sent to third-party database. The report doesn’t contain any personally identifiable information nor information about your machine aside from your OS name, its version, GPU model and few other techincal details crucial for improving stability of the game.

3. Patches and changes. We may update Chasm: The Rift which then will result in mandatory updates for the game. Patches may also lead to adjustments of system requirements. Such changes and updates may happen without notice or liability to you.

4. Legacy version. Chasm: The Rift is provided with a copy of the legacy version of the game as a bonus content (1997 release). Such legacy version has limited compatibility with modern operating systems and provided on ‘as is’ basis without warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and availability. We may revoke access to the legacy version at any time.

5. Digital Distribution Platform Agreement. For any other legal matters please refer to the current edition of the respective Digital Distribution Platform Agreement (i.e. Steam’s Subscriber Agreement, GOG User Agreement, etc.).
