it wont work anymore for me

Started a new playthrough with this mod along some others that should have been compatible, and pretty early on I started getting a CTD whenever I tried to go to a new location in-game. Went through the list disabling mods, and the game worked fine once this was disabled. Further testing indicated that something in the game or mod was getting corrupted regularly. When it works and doesn't cause a crash the mod is pretty nice though.

Super useful, upvoted, but unsubbed at upper level after I read most of the game's books, because I got tired of seeing MCM mod messages after reload or unexpectedly. Would definitely re-sub for a new playthrough.

I've played through Skyrim several times in different ways. Amazing how many books this mod has pointed out that I didn't know I haven't found or read yet. Definitely essential. Thankyou.

I "fixed" the issue myself by downloading the mod from Nexus, but the problem still persists for the workshop version. No idea why.

@CTMoo: There is no significance to the different shades of blue. It's randomly chosen for variety.

@Captain Seasick: As far as I can tell, the mod is fine, except for the usual maddening random bugginess that the Steam Workshop has for various people at various times. If it doesn't work for you, let me know.

So will you actually be updating this mod to fix the recent subscribing/loading issue? I mean, it's been reported since almost 10 months ago now...

I really like this mod so far, especially for the color of skill books. But I'm a little unclear about the meaning of the different "blues" colors of the books. Is there a way to find out more specifically what some of the colors indicate?? I don't have or know anything about the SkyUI or SKSE mods. Thanks so much for this great mod!!

ah, skyrim started to let me use the mod even though, through steam it failed to properly update. I don't know what's causing that, but I am able to use the mod again.

This mod doesn't seem to work anymore. I tried to load this mod and it keeps saying I'm not subscribed to it.

latest update broke the mod for me. I loved the mod so much, it was really useful. Started a new game yesterday, and was shocked to see this mod not working anymore for me. I hope you can fix it, or something. I'm not sure where it broke at, but I'm unable to enable the mod due to Skyrim/Steam saying something is wrong with it. I hope it doesn't give you a headache to fix. Thank you.

@duggelz Nevermind, turns out the reason it was still crashing was because I changed my music overhaul mod from Doom to Spongebob. Woops.

@Restlywander Have you successfully installed any other mods from the Nexus? The Nexus is generally more reliable than the Steam Workshop once you get things setup, but the first time you do it, it's easy to accidentally put mods in the wrong directory (for example, in the Skyrim\ directory instead of Skyrim\Data\ ).

So, tried doing what author said, and it was a no-go. Tried downloading the mod from nexus (also a no-go). Keeps saying that my save files rely on something something no longer present then crashes when I try to load my game. Can anyone help me?
