The mod launcher said this was 'not compatible' but OMG it made everything so much nicer and I swear i gained like 20fps or something wtf

Love this mod, but is there any reason none of the scrollbar mods don't affect the options menus, like the keybindings?

@mayrenise123, @J. FAITH, @merkava808: Just use the community made launcher, google it. Alternative Mod Launcher XCom2 should give it to you. The official ones are all just BAD.

This mod breaks if you use the V-sync and/or the frame smoothing option in the video settings, if the mod isn't working then make sure these options are NOT ticked, this is the issue I faced anyways

Installed on top of 95 mods mostly consisted of cosmetics, and this works beautifully. Used with Alternative Mod Launcher.

Just launched my copy of Alternate Mod Launcher (1.5.0 beta 2) and this mod is there: visible, installed and enabled.

Doesn't seem to play nicely with RPGO...it scrolls about 5 perk lines down at a time, while RPGO only shows 4, so it skips one line of perks every time.

By this, by the way, I mean when I use the scroll wheel. Without the mod, I can scroll line by line using the scroll wheel. Is there a scroll wheel option somewhere I need to change?

Two mods you've reported don't work are working fine for me, albeit in the Character Pool.
2K's new launcher won't enable mods made in the base game's SDK, like this one, in WotC. Use the Alternate Mod Launcher.

love that scrolling now feel more smooth, sadly its super fast scrolling and it still make it hard to control when scrolling, hope there is a way to fix the speed.

In my experience. It doesn't seem to cap the scrolling within the perk screen for RPGO (assuming you use a variety of RPGO Addons). It does cap the speed for everything else though, and it's still a much welcome addition to my modlist.

Unfortunately, this doesn't cap the scrolling speed.
It only makes the scrolling smooth.

:xcom2sharpshooter: For those who can't get it working - this got the mod working for me. :xcom2sharpshooter:

Go to Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config

Now delete everything in there.

Apparently, sometimes old code stays there even after you install a mod.
The game will rebuild all those files when you next start the game.

the reason is that in the description it is not mentioned the important fact that this Mod overrides +ModClassOverrides=(BaseGameClass="UIScrollbar" which is the same class overridden by "Raw-Based Scrolling Speed" from ToxicFrog so both mods simultaneously will have this FPS drop

Whenever I use a mod that messes with UIScrollbar, my framerate at the World Map tanks to 11fps. No idea why.

You know I didn't imagine this would ever be useful, and then I got a weapon pack that added a billion cosmetic weapons, and suddenly I am SO GRATEFUL for this mod, robojumper. Standard scrolling straight up skips parts of a list if it is long enough, this solves it

This requires a patch in each affected screen and is out of scope for this mod.
