2. Direct damage does indeed bypass damage reduction from armor. That's why I want to put a cap on the weapons, and to do that I force people to use the charge so as to hard-nerf the parts during campaign. You gotta choose between your Harpoons, your Aireal torpedoes, Ect., or your Modern Weapons.
