Only real way to make this game run better is to pop it on a machine with CPU that has top tier SINGLE CORE performance.
As this game utilizes no GPU and only single core of a CPU
make one or other not work..
Im glad I have because it runs so smooth, its such a shame that something that is built to play games can't even run a 2D platformer without lagging and frame jumping
I appreciate your mods and they have done me a great pleasure :)
It must be a FU update or something then, Reinstalling...
Thank you for helping explaining! :)
It's compatible with mods that add/change parallax but those mods' image won't be compressed (unless the authors compressed it already).
@ferlol15:
If you want to recover the lost parallax you need to delete the affected planets (planets that have no parallax). Go to the planets, take notes of each coordinate. Then in Steam Library, right click on Starbound and choose "Browse Local Files". You will be taken to Starbound folder, open /storage/ folder. Open /universe/ folder. Find the files with file type WORLD that has the filename that matches your coordinate. You can also sort the files by "Date Modified", it will show the most recent planets you visited. Delete those affected files. Reenter the planets.
It's a bit of hassle, but alas that's the only way to regenerate planets the way Starbound works...
Can you provide a screenshot? Would love to check it out.
You did really good mod, thanks!
