Thank you modders for this really awesome custom theater! The first time I subscribed to Born To Kill was many years ago when it was still at its infancy. I remember playing the various maps on Practice (Solo) mode, but at the time the characters were still the U.S. forces vs the Germans, in a Vietnam jungle setting.

The weaponry in the early games were still the vanilla DOI ones and it didn't make sense why the NVA bots not only looked European and they didn't have SKS or AK-47 assault rifles but the German weapons.

Thinking that BTK was just a little experimentation, I resumed playing the regular Day of Infamy maps and went back to playing the old Insurgency 2014 game and then, Sandstorm.

wait isn't there an ARVN team to? why isn't it in this?

I installed the mod, but when I connect to the BTK server, I can't get past the loading screen. I can hear the music of the unit and weapon selection menu playing in the background, I can hear the gunshots, the soldiers shouting, but all I can see is the loading screen of the server. The vanilla game and Sceaming Steel work perfectly, but I can't connect to the BTK server! Please help!

any plans to make this a stand alone game for commercial sale now that Insurgency is pretty much dead with the Devs getting sold?

When I first load up a map im fine but after i load into the map when I go to change my class my cursor is not showing and even when i go to the main menu it doesn't show please fix

Great mod! Got it to work on practice mod, I just had to restart the game, otherwise the maps would just show up but the mod wouldn't load, this mod also requires you to have Battleye installed and running, even in offline practice mode, seems to work without a hitch without internet though, thankfully. Sadly this, like @boromir mentioned can affect Reshade and stuff like that, but other than that it's a great mod.

I found for my local Bot Play I could disable Battleye and still play this mod ,I needed to do this to allow Reshade to properly load -normally Battleye prevents Reshade from working.

I made a small edit in \scripts\playlists\nam to the 2 playlists by changing this line,
"sv_battleye" "0" // battleye support
I then had to recompile the .vpk using the instructions from here,

I thought I would share this info in case someone else was interested in Bot Only play and wanted to use this mod with Resahde as well.

Really like the mod ,it is a lot of fun with Bots. I even played the Insurgency 2014 version as well.

they missed the chance to use insurgency m4a1 anims for the m16

there are never servers up is it possible to play this in single player

Please do something with the ragdolls . They die in a T pose ragdoll . The Bones of the models are messed up

beacuse there are no servers on section born to kill vietnam even there are no section it's important beacuse it's not possible to load the weapons and other stuff or i will play some germans or americans so it loses sense

Okay, nevermind, I assume this was done because of lack of custom voicelines. It doesn't always work though. Is there a way to disable specifically german voicelines on BTK? the american ones are fine.

I noticed that voicelines don't seem to play in Invasion and Offensive.
