it's the same in morrowind

what's the point with being blind? I would like to see where I'm going

i remeber these boots and how i got majorly(sorry if i spelled that wrong) trolled by morrowind and that redgurd woman as i thought it only made you fast.

As an Orc in morrowind I was still able to see with these boots.

Blind you say lol well I have a spell called Speeding Bullet that is fast too but so fast that when running the computer can't put up geographic fast enough so you just blow through the trees and most of the geography BUT u still get elevation through it's get for those dragon fight in a high or close spot lol. I got the spell from Midas Magic spell books, that you can create your self woo woo and it great for the cross Skyrim hicks with out the blindness maybe a blur but you can still see lol

actually, @Ezio Attano, there was a work around on Morrowind. After putting the boots on, you put on a necklace or ring you enchanted with dispel 100% constant effect. it got rid of the blind. :)

To everyone saying the blinding is stupid...play Morrowind, these boots are like hacking. Get a minimap mod or something it's the only way you were able to see in the original game :\

if you don't like the mod than you don't HAVE to download it, no one is forceing you.

You should add a way to turn off the blinding part for the less dedicated of us RPGers.

bug found: when you put the boots on a mannequin it gives you the blind effects and speed effect

What about being able to see, did you add the spell that was in morrowind that reversed the enchntment affects.

I'm not big on the nexus, when theyve made steam so easy, It was 100% my Fav artifact so ill give you some feed back on it :)

doesnt blind 100%, but does make running a pain in the arse(aside from going really fast). screen is blurry and you see double. If you like the mod than try the Vindar's value pack on the nexus, all my mods are included in one package there. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25122/

Hey, this was my absolute favorite artifact from morrowind, do they actually blind you 100%? I'd try it but i have about 100 kazillion mods and i'm trying to keep em low

so do these boots blur the screen beyond recognition of any thing you could see, or do they just make the screen turn black?

becouse theese boots are from Morrowind (TES3) they were light armor so plz dont remake them. maby just so u can use the enchant on other boots. (dont kill lore items, nobody wants an other 1h chrysamera)

There is a bug with the boots. : ( When I put them on a follower (Any apparently), it makes me blind and they seemingly do not receive the move speed benefit, and neither do I.

hey, you can, respawn to: the dragonbone-cuirass..., of the morrowind-game...?
or the ebonbony-cuirass, of the morrowind-temple, because, they have, more power-ful magic-spells...! and they must have higher weapons-points, als normal weapons of the games...!
i need this spells for my other weapons...

what i was wearing in the screenshot was a combination of bandolier, black mage armor, and the cloaks mod, the bandolier and cloak came from the nexus while the amor came from this site.

Great! This was one of my favorite items in Morrowind! A Night Eye effect should negate the blindness, as should resist magicka. That is, of course if it works like it did in Morrowind, which is unlikely, as Skyrim doesn't have a blindness spell effect. Nor does it have a Night Eye spell, for that matter (though, that is easily put into the game).

I forget the name of the ring in morrowind but there was a ring that you could wear that would completely take away the blinding effect on the boots. In your spare time you should add the ring if you know what it is.

Found a glitch: if placed on a mannequin the blind effect that the boots give off will affect the player. Having fun running into lakes and firing blind "FUS... RO DAH!"s at people though. Good job!
