Should also add that this op uses a lot of custom objects, because the compound does not exist in the base map. Naturally, that's going to have a hit on performance. But I don't think the controlled landing has anything to do with the FPS, as it's just a recording of his own flying with UnitCapture and a couple triggers.

I'm playing this scenario with just the essential mods as well, Joe, and am averaging around 50-60 frames with my standard settings (the majority of which are at max, visibility 8K and object vis 4K).

Even if this is a relatively tiny scenario, I think it's running pretty well by Arma standards. I don't think even 35-40 would be abnormally low for most people. Something else might be causing your performance drop, like background processes or just some sort of bug occurring.

Graphical settings aren't consistent either. Some settings actually run better if they're set higher due to it being handled by the GPU rather than CPU.

It doesn't take much for this game to start chugging frames, so I don't think a drop in 5-10 frames is anything to worry about if you're averaging 50 in similarly small situations. Usually, I'm trying to fight baddies with 15-30 lmao

So I'm not sure about what causes the slow-down but I tried this scenario with only the necessary mods and no AI and it had my frames around 40-ish on the STANDARD graphics preset but then i tried a little mission i made (7 friendly AI, 20 enemy AI and a fair amount of vehicles and misc. objects for decoration) on the ULTRA graphics preset and i was running it around 50 consistently throughout that entire scenario.

I'm not sure if it's heavy scripting with the vehicles or something like that because in the chopper flying to the "controlled landing" bit it was all good and then everything dropped as it landed and then the further i got away from the chopper it seemed to start running smoother and smoother.

I realize this is probably redundant and useless at this point but some kind of optimization would be nice for this scenario. Maybe just cut the controlled landing if that is where slow-down issues are occuring.

I dont get them to engage, they just go around the landing site in a loop, doing the same thing over and over again. Please, help me. The commands dont work, they dont listen to me. What should i do to make them engage?

Sadly this mission is unmakeable as some buildings can´t get accessed so some enemys can´t get killed...

I downloaded everything, loaded everything and all. When the mission loads the briefing map is disabled and when I click "start" it just has an ambient camera and then nothing else. I can't spawn in as a character, single player or multiplayer
