After many attempts, the dropper gave me 2 cubes when I went back to the light bridge origin, so I used them both and solved the map. Assuming that was glitch, I went back and solved it with just the one cube. Don't know why I was making it so difficult! Much more satisfying with the one cube. Another very nice map!

Nice puzzle, but the pedistal button next to the exit is just sad. I kept mistaking it for a riser trigger.

Alright, I think I may have managed to, eh, severely break it...

I recorded some .dem files to show what I did. Framerate is horrible (4-5 fps for me) but they still get the point across, I think. I doubt anyone else is going to have the patience to do this, so you probably won't have to update again, but it was satisfying to accomplish.

Nice map, well made and sufficiently lit. Clever puzzle, I went swimming a couple of times until I used the "oscillate in the funnel" trick to get more time for the cube to get to the button. Thanks for your efforts.

Even getting two cubes from the dropper didn't seem to break the solution to the puzzle. Seems very cheat-proof, well done xP

Brilliant puzzle and some neat concepts. I worked it out and got to where I need to be to do the last 3 portal shots quite quickly and felt pretty damn smug with myself:steamhappy:. Then fired a portal in the correct place, but the wrong colour, twice on the trot before finally getting it right:steamfacepalm:, so I'm not quite so smug now!

@| \_/ () I know you can shoot a portal to the bridge area from there, but as you said, it doesn't help with the solution so I decided to ignore it.
The panel itself is just to block the surface and yes, to force the intended solution of getting over to the button island. It's also there as a trap prevention so if you shoot both portals on the button island, you can just funnel back to the bridge area.
I lowered the glass in the update so I hope that removed the other ways to get there.

When I'm on the button island I can shoot a portal to the bridge area. That's not changing the solution much, just letting you know.
I don't think that panel does anything in the solution. I'm guessing it's to make the player get to that island properly the first time, but there are more than one ways to do that. Also, what's the point if I can use it the second, third, fourth time, etc.?

Those are the things that looked broken, otherwise the chamber is pretty cool, idea and all.
...and I love Prototype's solution at the end :D
