@AnarchistMetalhead not exclusively true, there were examples at several Roman archeological sites that showed semicircle amphitheater’s also being defined and considered as amphitheaters. While an amphitheater can be defined as an open air full circle seated stage, it can also be defined as a semi circle with tiered seating and an open back stage. 😉

late to the comment section, but who gives a ♥♥♥♥ what an actual amphitheater looks like in real life? This is not a simualtion type of game, there are some amphitheaters that are different than others. Nothing is perfect in this world or in the modding world.

this is not an amphitheater
a classical theater was a semicircle, so just slightly less than this, while an amphitheater means two theaters, so a full circle or ellipsis, with the stage in the middle
