The Tier 1 artillery units don't have animations when moving. Didn't check the other tiers yet so might be the same thing with them.

I don't make custom models, just reuse existing. At this point in time I am already busy helping out the Iaponia Universalis mod team anyway :P Try Xangelo though!

Which DLC´s are needed?
blitzy 1. mai 2017 kl. 5.01
whoops, Forgot to enable it, Silly me :)
blitzy 1. mai 2017 kl. 5.01
When I start the game has Hungary, It's still the regular Chainmail armour :(
Malicious Mallard  [skaper] 25. apr. 2017 kl. 12.32
Only if you want a hole in his head :P
I currently have a unit modding guide in the works, so once that is done you can make whatever mod you want :)
Gia 25. apr. 2017 kl. 12.10
i really like your mod but i think white uniform with green pant is more pretty. is there anyway to remove the top of the hat which look green/white? it makes me think like he's russian. ._.
Malicious Mallard  [skaper] 25. apr. 2017 kl. 11.42
Though I like how it looks, I don't know if I would change it. A lot of people seem to like it the way it is, and I feel it retains some of the "Eastern European" look that I feel an independent Hungary should have as opposed to the one you suggested which would be under Austrian rule. It does look cool, though! Maybe as a seperate companion mod :)
Gia 25. apr. 2017 kl. 11.38
it's looked like ulm tier 4 in green
Gia 25. apr. 2017 kl. 11.37
could you please make tier4 like this?
Malicious Mallard  [skaper] 19. apr. 2017 kl. 9.49
@Reich Some of them do. And when they do they don't always become the colors that look good (for example, I'm not a fan of the colors of my Wallachia mod and plan on making s second mod with "fixed" colors)

In regards to Poland, I already have a different model planned for T4 that I think people will be relatively happy with
Æthelwulf 19. apr. 2017 kl. 9.17
And just so you know, i don't think you need to have colored diffuses or whatever, you can just use the meshes and the other one i think and units will color "dynamically" by themselves.
Æthelwulf 19. apr. 2017 kl. 9.15
Could you please make a mod that gives this tier 4 to Poland? I've tried doing it myself but can't get it to work. Kinda dumb they made 4 such cool units for a nation that virtually will almost never exist in any playthrough!
Æthelwulf 18. apr. 2017 kl. 2.53
Fucking Cumworthy
Snizzlet 8. apr. 2017 kl. 14.32
Well done, yet again sir.
Kicsi 2. apr. 2017 kl. 8.53
For some reason this works without the DLCs...
DeerHunter 20. mars 2017 kl. 5.48
Yeah glory to Mattias Corvinus, born in Romania :) !
Bendeguz 5. mars 2017 kl. 4.06
Stunning work, you make the Black Army especially look amazing! Thankyou so much for creating and sharing this!
Civmaster54 26. feb. 2017 kl. 12.42
ok
Malicious Mallard  [skaper] 26. feb. 2017 kl. 10.10
@Civmaster54 I am generally steering away from doing Western nations due to the fact that their Vanilla units just got an overhaul, but I may look into it in the future
Civmaster54 26. feb. 2017 kl. 5.04
Could you do Scotland and Ireland???
mateusg 23. feb. 2017 kl. 14.29
Nice mod
Ypulse 4. feb. 2017 kl. 18.26
tier 1

i also I found this only in hungarian language and no pictures, but here it is if interested (about black army)
http://www.gesztes.hu/2012/05/matyas-seregenek-viselete-es.html

it says south german (gothic?) plate (mainly for heavy cavalry), or leather, ringmail body armor types were used depending on the unit type and wealth of the soldier. Most popular helmets were: kettle hat (ur tier 2 model using this), the salade/sallet, "eastern/turk" (ligh cavalry) helmet and barbute helmet.
(btw these black army "uniforms" (armors, helmets) are shown on the era of mohacs as well (1526) or atleast similar, but after 1550-1600 armor was never/rarely used as i know, only some transylvanian heavy cavalry still used armor for upper body+helmet)
Ypulse 4. feb. 2017 kl. 18.25
(btw the milan tier 1 from italian unit pack is also decent for tier 1 or venetian tier 2, just to mention, if u think ur tier 2 fits as tier 2.
the theodoro tier 2 unit from cossack dlc is also looking interesting for using it as tier 2 if u want a more western look a bit.it shows western and eastern style which would "fit" to hungary, also it is half-armored with that helmet)

the best and easiest would be probably using the polish tier 2 unit model from catholic unit pack as tier 2, and the bohemian tier 2 model from evangelical as tier 3 unit.
feels like a natural evolution/transition also shows where tier 4 came from and how evolved, and it is similar of what hungarians worn as u can see on the pictures at those time periods.
transylvania should be compatible also with this mod not only hungary btw
Ypulse 4. feb. 2017 kl. 18.24
well to be more specific, ur tier 2 unit is "fine" when it comes to infantry, but it is in the wrong time period probably.
paint showing a light infantry from black army era. The detailed unit u gave us for tier 1 is fine as well, since it represents the heavy infantry uniform.

the more problematic model is the cavalry which i didnt mentioned before
what about using tier 1-2 cavalry model from the polish winged hussars dlc? (minus the wings of course for tier 2. if u can, just remove it. they used only "cape")

Other solution could be also, for ur existing tier 1 cavalry unit (if u dont want to use winged hussar dlc models), to use lance/spear in hand, and keeping the model.(sword/sabre attached)
, and the polish/bohemian "religious" dlc, or even default original model, for tier 2
both heavy and light cavalry used the lance/spear as main/common weapon
from tier 3 (maybe even from tier 2 if u want): their weapon sabre in hand, and no spear at all
Xangelo7 3. feb. 2017 kl. 12.09
@Ypulse
as historical as it is
Paradox Eu4 unit models are already has unhistorical accuracy unit models, if paradox wanted to make it historical there would be 7 tiers unit models, tier 1:1400s, tier 2:1500s, tier 3:1600s, tier 5: early 1700s, tier 6:mid to late 1700s, tier 7: Early 1800s

Mare Nostrum is the biggest offender, before the patch paradox made the algerians, Tunisian black.
the lack of diverse unit rigs, almost all of them are the same model holding a spear. paradox could atleast give swords and shields to west african and middle eastern nations
Malicious Mallard  [skaper] 3. feb. 2017 kl. 11.28
@Ypulse I appreciate your concerns and comments. However as I said, a lot of people seem happy with this mod, so I won't be changing it. However, I am willing to make an alternate version if you think that would be better representative of Hungary during the time period., following your suggestions
Ypulse 3. feb. 2017 kl. 10.46
not only that, but hungarian uniform, cloth had allways some influence on europe just like other eastern things as well that came into west eu, they adopted from us. The most famous is probably the hussar uniform. Everywhere in the world its looks basicly the same and its based on the hungarian. When Richelieu saw the "tie" on hungarian hussars he made it fashion in the western world and evolved from there basicly.("cravate"-from croate, cuz hungarians were used in the croatian regiment in the french army and ppl named it from croatians, they thought they were croatians or it was just more simple to name it after that)
ur romanian tier 2-3 models are much better, also some polish models could be used as well if anything, those things look way more hungarian
Ypulse 3. feb. 2017 kl. 10.45
tier 3 model...Austrian army allways had separated forces even during WW1. austrian, bohemian, hungarian and even merged ones etc.... Sure there was some hungarian serving in austrian army in austrian uniform, but this doesnt mean, the majority of hungarian force was in astrian uniform...or the hungarian uniform looked like the austrian.it was the opposite, it was very differnt and hungarians kept their traditions.
Ypulse 3. feb. 2017 kl. 10.39
first of all look here the eras ingame for unit models
http://www.eu4wiki.com/Unit_models

the picture u show, is from 15 century uniform, since black army existed only in 15 century, it was disbanded right after Mattias death and some part of black army who rebelled was defeated in 1494 and it was no more. The picture was maybe painted during 16 century though, but this means that history was written after things already happened...
this means ur tier 2 model not only is used in wrong time period (u are using 100yrs war unit model after all which is a tier 1 unit in a non-feudalism era), but as i said its not rly looking hungarian and even the original default model looks better.Btw those on the picture u posted, it could be easily bohemian mercenaries.i can post lot of pictures where 14-15-16 century mans are shown very differenty, and looks actually hungarian.
Malicious Mallard  [skaper] 3. feb. 2017 kl. 9.55
@Ypulse T2 I have sources showing that is what the black army in the early-mid 16th century looked like, one is in the comments section if you go back a bit.
T3 I chose simply because I was going for a "Western Influence" soldier, due to the fact that during the 18th century, Hungary was a part of the Hapsburg Monarchy and therefore would have been (at least theoretically) armed and uniformed in a very similar way to the Austrians.
I'm sorry that you don't like them, but a lot of people seem to and I don't plan on changing them.
Ypulse 3. feb. 2017 kl. 8.57
the tier 2-3 unit models are terrible, very unaccurate. U should replace it with ur romanian unit pack tier 2-3 units, (but with hungarian colors) that will do it

how come u did end up putting a medieval unit into tier 2 srly lol
Xangelo7 2. feb. 2017 kl. 10.09
i know, i wish Paradox would actually put fully armored tier 1 HRE nations unit models.
Malicious Mallard  [skaper] 2. feb. 2017 kl. 9.24
@Xangelo7 it's possible, but I don't have the program needed or the disposable income for it. Otherwise I would, becausethat would be awesome!
Xangelo7 2. feb. 2017 kl. 5.37
would it be possible to combine Saxony tier 1 unit, Hannover legs plate armor, Wurttemberg neck armor and arms plate armor to make it look like Gothic plate Armor?
Victor Liberum 1. feb. 2017 kl. 15.01
Good job man! :D
Malicious Mallard  [skaper] 1. feb. 2017 kl. 7.31
@Mikolaj thank you. I chose the Portuguese T3 because I felt that it felt suitable for an Eastern European country that has taken a lot of influence from its western neighbor (Austria). I had thought about Bohemian T2, but I want to try and prevent an oversatuaration of that particular model as I have used it for Wallachia and will most likely use it for Serbia/Bosnia as well.
Æthelwulf 1. feb. 2017 kl. 6.08
This is very good, however i think tier 3 could be a much better model.
Wo0d Glue 29. jan. 2017 kl. 9.29
serbian unit pack next
Captain Genyó 29. jan. 2017 kl. 3.43
How about if you change the coat of arms of the first unit type to the Raven coat of arms of the Hunyadi family? :)
SaintPopePoop 29. jan. 2017 kl. 3.24
Nice mod :D
