THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VERY NEEDED MOD.
J-Shrub 26. Juni 2013 um 10:00
A bug - Gold Rings crafted from gold ingots which are made from gold ($) cannot be smelted back into gold ingots. At least, that's what's happening in my client.

@J-Shrub: I finally got around to looking over the mod in the Creation Kit, the 100% Gold Retaining on rings is no exploit, because of Gold's scarcity without another mod letting you make the ingots out of Septims or using Transmute.
J-Shrub 30. März 2013 um 21:18
Love your mod, but I'd just like to point out an exploit- there is no ingot loss when smithing gold rings; one can make two gold rings with a single gold ingot and melt it down to get your ingot back.

Still absolutely loving this mod, it makes working on my smithing a bit easier when I can scrounge armor from bandits and turn it to craftable resources.
Viral Otomo 17. Jan. 2013 um 19:24
Anytime, I'm glad to be of help.
Nulwin  [Autor] 17. Jan. 2013 um 17:55
@Viral The Nightmare: It's fine, I just fixed the issue, as it turned out, it was an oversight from using the Steel Gauntlets as a template for it, making it refuse to show, it and the lack of compacting on the jewelry breakdowns will be taken care of. Thanks for letting me know.
Viral Otomo 17. Jan. 2013 um 15:04
I don't mean to be a bother, but I've run into a similar problem. I bought some steel shields from Gunmar (dawnguard NPC) and I can't seem to use them at the smelter in Fort Dawnguard. I've yet to try other smelters, but I thought it'd be a good idea to let you know in advance of this issue.
Nulwin  [Autor] 13. Jan. 2013 um 16:08
@Viral The Nightmare: The Steel Shield was an oversight that completely slipped my mind, I'll fix that and add Gold and Silver smelting right away.
Viral Otomo 13. Jan. 2013 um 13:05
Oh, and any chance you can make some way of getting gold ingots back, like smelting gold necklaces or rings (maybe 1 necklace and 1 ring for a bar)? Like silver, gold is rather difficult to come by most the time, and I often need more enchanting fodder for training.
Viral Otomo 13. Jan. 2013 um 13:00
I've not run into many problems, but one recurring one is that I can't get anything from steel shields. Is this intentional, just an overlook, or possibly a mod confliction?
Viral Otomo 19. Dez. 2012 um 17:45
@gum401 - You smelt armor the same way as the Crafting+ -Weapons, using a smelter.
Nulwin  [Autor] 1. Dez. 2012 um 20:25
@Garlandx I'll just hotfix it.
Garland81 1. Dez. 2012 um 19:57
Dude... you do realize the mask crafting can be exploited right? Smelt gold into ingots.. make gold masks. Make tons of money that way. Kill the masks.
Ralthron 21. Sep. 2012 um 22:46
ok, sold
Nulwin  [Autor] 18. Sep. 2012 um 16:04
@Ralthron: All Ingots will be returned, any other materials used in the creation of a weapon will not.
Ralthron 18. Sep. 2012 um 13:55
do you get all the ingots back or just some?
Nappy Daze 12. Juli 2012 um 12:48
I've felt from the start that this should been a vanilla feature of the game. Great mod!
crazed laith 30. Juni 2012 um 12:23
how do you melt them down i cant seem to figure it out
wwusterbarth 27. Apr. 2012 um 20:53
Ahh guess i will have to give them to henchies before i do it haha
Nulwin  [Autor] 27. Apr. 2012 um 20:08
@wwusterbarth: I would have done that already, but the Creation Kit says no.
wwusterbarth 27. Apr. 2012 um 8:15
Question -- Not sure how hard it would be, but could you make it so it shows the renamed item instead of the Vanilla name for items that way we dont smelt our only weapons lol. For instance I have only 1 glass sword at this time and it just said Glas Sword for the refined malachite
dehfanboy 5. Apr. 2012 um 21:08
is this compatible with the "craft arrows" mod?
Rike. 28. Feb. 2012 um 11:37
Does this work for Ebony, Elven, or enchanted stuff? Because I have an ebony helm and its not showing up. Desperate for Ebony ingots.
DarkAngel13 15. Feb. 2012 um 20:38
Can you add conditions to these recipes so they are not visible if you don't have the item in the inventory as it is a freaking nightmare to scroll through all the items. Thank you
Pope Vader the First 12. Feb. 2012 um 14:19
so now the steam hickup broke this hard
55 burgers 55 fries 55 tacos 11. Feb. 2012 um 14:51
@xMythx and Lowp1ng - I've never heard of any mods that do that, but it would be great if somebody made a mod that did that for all the armour, weapon and smelting menus.
Silar 10. Feb. 2012 um 18:54
@xMythx I've seen it been done in other mods, but can't for the life of me remember their names right now. I do feel strongly that it should me made a feature to this mod and Crafting+: Weapons. So much of the clutter will go away.
Chronic 9. Feb. 2012 um 16:34
I was just wondering if there was a way to make the salvaging act like crafting leather, i.e. you can only see what you have the materials to do. In the leather menu it doesnt list each of the hides, they only appear if you have that specific hide.
Nulwin  [Autor] 9. Feb. 2012 um 14:53
It could be done, but doing that would mean that they must be at the absolute final versions, so as not to complicate updating.
Ace 9. Feb. 2012 um 14:20
Just wondering, is it possible to add a third version which combine both Crafting + Armor and the Weapons version? You can't have 50 subscribed files being downloaded, after that you get a 'failed to enumerate files' error with the launcher to save space so I'd like to have as much free space as possible.
PansenPeter 9. Feb. 2012 um 9:23
i would love to see a Crafting+ Miscellaneous to smelt pots, plates and other stuff
Nulwin  [Autor] 8. Feb. 2012 um 21:09
I was actually thinking of that the other day, Skyrim would suddenly have a shortage of cookery and tankards.
Nomad 8. Feb. 2012 um 21:05
Nice job! Weapons and Armor are sweet. Maybe you could do a Crafting+: Miscellaneous. Smelt down iron pots and pans, trinkets, maybe break down wooden plates into firewood.
