It does work.

Main Menu -> Mods -> Client side mods -> enable this mod
DST will then reload

Host world -> You should be able to increase world size from that screen

theres a mod that i use that allows up to 64 ppl if you have a really good pc and internet that i tested working. but my internet started dieing at 8 and server crashed at 13
