Thank you so much, it's 2024 and I've searched everywhere for ever to find a SweetFX/ReShade that would actually work in Insurgency at this time

ya ngl im so lost im tried installing reshade to about every directory i could think of with exe or config files and i cant get it to work it seems

my pc is already heating up just looking at it

damn sweetfx...I mean when was the last time I used sweet fx lol. just to let everyone know this is reshade 1.1, it's literally like 5 years old. Only reason to use this and not actual current reshade is that battleye isn't gonna be a pain in the ass and allow you to use this

Could I add some new shaders from the current reshade? If yes, in which folder do I have to paste them? If not, is it also not possible to run a different preset?

Yeah, still working. There might be a very small FPS drop of around 2~3 frames since it's not an intensive preset.

Nah, as quoted from the BattlEye page at https://www.battleye.com/support/faq/ : "non-cheat overlays and visual enhancement tools like Reshade or SweetFX are generally supported unless desired otherwise by the game developers (the latter two are currently blocked in PUBG, Fortnite and Islands of Nyne)."

Insurgency is one of the games that have always been cool with the use of ReShade/SweetFX and you won't ever be flagged or banned for it, the worst that could happen is if you were to use one of the older versions that's incompatible with the game you could be kicked or it could be prevented from launching.

No problem! Sorry about the convoluted instructions, sadly it's the easiest way to make it work with the structure that steam workshop uses for insurgency

I've recently updated the download on the page. All files should be there unless it's being corrupted or deleted by some sort of antivirus program, which could happen if it's being flagged as a false positive

Yo I can't find ReShade.fx any where

The tweaks don't really work anymore and battleye ♥♥♥♥♥ with it sometimes for no apparent reason. Make sure the ReShade folder, d3d9.dll and ReShade.fx are inside your bin folder on "SteamApps\common\insurgency2\bin" and it should work

Glad you like it! Used to be a lot better than it currently is but sadly the battleye update limited the scope of some effects and blocked other versions of reshade that i'd like to try using.

Well, that's weird. I haven't tried competitive yet but regular PvP and Coop games have been working fine on my end regardless of sv_pure setting. I'll check with more people but there will probably be no way of getting around Battleye, sadly.
