Grip it and rip it! Appreciate the effort, can't wait to try this out with the new DLC.

@DesignerShark44 I don't intend to make any more assets for this game. My interests have moved to other places in my life
Shark44 29/ago./2022 às 15:53
So are you going to make an accurate clubhouse to go with it? Because that club house is a bit too tall and other stuff is different, completely different. (I actually live somewhat near by this place)
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 1/ago./2021 às 15:48
@Crusadepony Thank you! Yes, it's the whole course including the practice greens and driving range.
Wagner 31/jul./2021 às 1:46
This is so beautiful. Is this the entire course?
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 11/abr./2021 às 18:24
Unfortunately, I have moved on from making these assets. I did, however, create a modular golf set where you can design your own holes, so you can take a look at that. I think there's also a mod on the workshop that allows you to procedurally create each golf hole.
Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse 11/abr./2021 às 12:49
Could you maybe do oakmont?
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 11/abr./2021 às 12:46
@Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse yeah, many people who play this game don't know the proper golf terminology
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 14/ago./2020 às 9:04
There's not much I can do about that unfortunately. I guess the only option you have is turning them on/off rather than deleting them.

Ok, I thought I deleted this question, I also found out you can subscribe this package, and they appear seperate in content manager. You don't have to use them all, though, leave some unactivated. But when removing one, and they remove together when subscribed as a package.
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 13/ago./2020 às 16:09
I uploaded this course so that all the holes are in one place. Either you can go into content manager and remove the assets individually, or you can download some of the holes of the other courses I've created.
pviva 13/ago./2020 às 3:22
can I subscribe just 5 or 4 courses ? Too many assets. If I unsubscribe one, they all dissappear together at once
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 6/jul./2020 às 13:23
That's odd. Maybe it was my other golf course assets that had better land value. Glad you made it work anyway!
Luap 6/jul./2020 às 12:20
Isn't really working out that way in mine. It should have a similar effect as water frontage but It is all good, I have a trees mod that fills the issue lol. In my mind I just figured it would have automatically made that whole area top notch but it didn't.
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 6/jul./2020 às 11:56
For sure, but if I remember correctly, each of them has a really big radius for land value, and when you put 18 of them in the same area the land value should be really high.
Luap 6/jul./2020 às 9:07
By the way, if I had to make any comment about the course I would say it isn't giving off enough "land value" benefit to the surrounding homes. Seems like it is no better than a small park and it should be quite a bit more.
Luap 6/jul./2020 às 9:02
Yeah I saw that one...seemed a bit overkill for what I was looking for. Looks great just not for a regular residential course.
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 6/jul./2020 às 8:41
Wow, looks great!. If you want a bigger clubhouse, I made one here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=611216742

I am not connected to steam on this game, sorry.
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 4/jul./2020 às 12:05
Sorry, I don't want to risk downloading something. Perhaps you could post the screenshot to your steam profile?
Luap 4/jul./2020 às 9:48
Couldn't really do what I wanted to do with the water due to the grid for the terrain modification being too large. Anyway, this is what I ended up with. It is just a pic of the site.

thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 1/jul./2020 às 15:47
@Luap Yes, I think that should work. Let me know how it goes!
Luap 1/jul./2020 às 14:45
@thebigeasy Thanks for the response...so in theory I could encroach onto the edges of the course as long as I do not go into that hit box. I will give it a try. I have plans to incorporate this into a residential area Florida style with the lots interspersed throughout the course.
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 1/jul./2020 às 9:55
Hi @Luap. Yes, I still check in every once in a while just in case messages like these pop up. I am aware that water does not behave correctly around the assets, and that's because of the 1 unit wide hitbox that spans the length of the hole.

One solution could be to make the hitbox a 1x1 square, but then what happens is as soon as the hitbox is outside of the screen, the game doesn't render the asset anymore.

Other than that, you're pretty much stuck with having water hazards around the holes rather than through or over them.

Glad you like the course! :D
Luap 30/jun./2020 às 16:41
@thebigeasy66 Don't know if your still around...I just added your course to my game. Very nice. However, the fist thing I did was try to break it lol...that is just me. I am curious if there is any way something like this can be made to accept water being on top of it? I tried to add a water hazard by digging a hole across the course and adding water but it got very glitchy and the water will not show over the course. Is it possible?

Thanks!

Nice!
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 27/mar./2018 às 15:49
Each hole is an individual item, so you have to arrange them yourself.
Lextacy 26/mar./2018 às 19:51
Are the holes pre-laid out so I dont have to arrange the holes myself?
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 24/mar./2018 às 18:57
Thanks!
splatterzoid 24/mar./2018 às 18:09
Holy crap, amazing!
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 5/jun./2017 às 20:04
Wow, looks amazing! I like how you made the course layout realistic. The smart use of terraforming is also a nice touch.

Wanted to show off a bit...

Thank you bigeasy for Pinehurst No.2. I used your asset to create Oakhurst. Lot's of terraforming to create holes that look playable to a golfer. My map had this tile that just begged to have a golf course put on it.

Cheers

Cheers mate
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 13/mar./2017 às 22:19
Yeah, every city should have at least 3-4 courses if they want to be realistic. In Sacramento there's got to be at least 8 courses in the area.
Daxius 13/mar./2017 às 21:21
i mean i live in a town of 10,000 people and we had 3 golf courses. two now that the land value of one was to good to pass up, and they wanted to retire
thebigeasy66  [autor(a)] 13/mar./2017 às 11:46
Thanks! I have a feeling they may add something like this eventually.
Daxius 12/mar./2017 às 23:16
wow, freakin awesome. surprised it isn't a feature in modern city builder games
BoxHead 22/dez./2016 às 20:56
Thank you mate,

Thanks! That is the Greenbrier, by me.

Looks good mate. Thank you.
What is the building in the screen shots? I like it.
