Yeah. That's when you feed seeds except the unknown seed, the "guano dropping" event occurs.

Mod works for me, birds drop feathers periodically while in cage. Also noticed they drop guano if fed a certain amount of seeds, dunno if it's this mod but then this I believe is the only mod I have for birds.

It pretty much refused to work for me. Thankfully, Rezecib helped with rewriting the code for the mod so it's not only fully functional, but cleaner, more efficient, and likely future-proofed.

@Don Quixote In the offchance you're still supporting this mod, I went to the forums and got help updating the mod. Add me and I can get you an updated modmain that works and is a lot more efficient than the old modmain. If not, i'm going to just upload what I have.

This is a great mod!! My family keeps pet birds and they occasionally do shed their feathers, so this mod is Very realistic! I've had this mod enabled in most of my games since I got it and it works great. Thanks for making it :)

Thanks so much! Birds drop sooo many feathers. We shouldn't have to kill them to obtain feathers. Adds a nice touch to the game. The selectable options are great too.

This mod keeps me from having to kill dozens of birds for their feathers, A+, would avoid guilty feelings again.

Canaries don't seem to be dropping feathers, though -- update to include them?
