@ChrisG i do have to say after sleeping on it the map was better than i thought originally its had a lot of effort put into it and is still very fun just incredibly hard, i do remember the good old HL2DM days and remember playing the puzzle map on there too which is why i went the full length to complete it this time. i have deleted the old comment to give this map the cedit it deserves. but again unsure on how to do some of the puzzles?

I can understand that it takes very long with only 3-4.

honestly this map is crazy hard and also wayyyyyyyy too long. I tried it with a friend, and some of the things they expect you to do are things that only a gmod god could pull off (I'm talking to you, pluto). And the ending isn't even worth it. The beginning part was cool af though. It's a good thing you made that it's own map.

Well, as i said, i tested it many times, not only me, thousands of other people played it on my old puzzle server. (Server not available anymore)

It could be some mods from you, maybe just disable everything else and you will see, it works.
It will also work without any Valve Game installed (except GMOD and/or HL2DM) cause everything you need is packed into the .bsp


For the sounds: It's some "LOST" sounds before the crash and seamlessly mixed with the movie "The Knowing". Correct. ;)
That turbine is just awesome and unforgetable.

also the sound you hear just before the impact is a plane crash scene of the movie ''the knowing'' is that right?

that feeling when everyone is complaining about how the "puzzle map" is mostly parkor levels but also ask you to remove the puzzles because they're too hard

You could have make some notes on a paper for the maze.
Whenever you find a wrong/correct tile make a note.
As orientaion use the island (vulcano).
Oldschool cheat :P

I did, but it feels wrong to have to rely on an outside cheat to complete a puzzle. At least level 10 had a clue.

I guess it was on the oceanside. Left bottom.
So if you have the board in front of you the outdoor should be on your right.

Well, it's a maze. you could make a plan. Just be careful and stay on the squares. It's easier to crouch and move.

level 5, diagonal chessboard, I've spent over an hour carefully trying every side to find an entry but every time I touch the chessboard it teleports me back to the level spawn

Which chessboard? There are more then one who use a chessboard ground.

The Mercury Maze needs 2 players.
The diagonal chessboard has a hidden maze.

There should be a folder called Roleplay in GMOD. Also this map has a Thumbnail Picture.

this is actually pretty good! but i think it has too much parkour and to little actual puzzels

This is great! I love the plane crash scene! One problem, Most of the "puzzles" are parkour. Honestly though, its pretty good. 4\5 stars

The first Puzzle stages (1-16) are made to solve very fast. The next line (8 Planets) need a bit more work and time (Build and more) and so on. (4 Elements) ... etc

Honestly got bored with it in the first 20 minutes. Only got up to like level 13 and was thouroughly bored at how much parkour there was and not really any puzzles. Not to mention I straight up crashed out at that same level.
