it's not working for me unfortunately, I'm using it with the gaia + sapiens mod. is there a way to make the SQL queries run last?

Mod activation is blocked for me. Using VP and a few other mods compatible with VP. Any ideas?

Mod no longer seems to work (no idea why.) Tested to confirm and each time there is a maintenance cost for roads :(

Thanks, this solves (A) roads in enemy land exploit and (B) worker AI creating unneeded roads

@GRINT@RO this mod does not modify any DLL. The mod is really two lines of SQL..

Only thing that would conflit would be anything that changes the variables for GoldMaintenance with ROUTE_ROAD and ROUTE_RAILROAD

There isn't anything like it on the workshop. Also It's great for mixing with other mods, I use it with caravans build roads mod.

I like Misterich's faster on roads Another possibility is to increase city connection / trade route gold. That way it accomplishes the same goal as reducing the maintenance would - saving you gold while making roads.

That is what I said. There should be be any change, so that this social politic has any new sence (f. e. faster on roads, more range for carawan ...)

The cost of roads are set to 0 so anything that has to do with lowering the cost of roads is negated :S 0*.5 is 0

The mod simply sets the value of GoldMaintenance for ROUTE_RAILROAD & ROUTE_ROAD to 0. For Inca and Wagon, Inca's bonus effects more than just roads, Wagon Trains only gets +2 gold. ANYTHING that effects road cost is negated.

If you really just want roads to be free then that is something easy to change
Edit the value for ROUTE_RAILROAD under the file
Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Zero Road Maintenance (v 1)\ModRules.xml
