¿Ironman mode works?

Unlike other mods it still works after 9 months without updating, if you update it add a winter version of the uniform, sorry for not answering, i probably missed it.

@Nolazc It should still work, unless paradox changed how to implement skins recently.

do you need to update it for the mod to work properly?, or even if outdated it stills works on the 1.9?

It's an issue with the lighting ingame because I don't mess with the skin color in the original file. I took a side by side screenshot of the vanilla troops on the same tile a long time ago and had the same results.

i think the Finns are black when they are supposed to be white right?

@LatvianTanker Have you used JoroDox tools to pair the .mesh with the textures that you made. It's a google app if you don't have it.

Hello, I see that you have reskined German Infantry units into Finnish ones, thats what I have doen with Latvian units for my mod that Im working on but they are all black, when I change the texture names to GER it looks fine, as I get it its the problem in the .mesh file that it takes diferent texture instead of the one I want, could you tell me how I could change the .mesh file or any other fix for this problem?

@sharpylike They still work even if you don't do that. Updating it will only get rid of the ! on the launcher.

just got to the mod folder and change the number to 1.3.3 and it will update

@Lone Wolf Sorry I posted this a little late. Can you take a screenshot of the black Finns bug? On my game they are showing up with the default skin color of the German forces.

@Lone Wolf I'll take a look into that. I had this bug on the Czech units, but that was because I tried to us a German face. I'm not sure what would be causing it for the Finns though.

@SilentAssassin I found a bug, the Finns are black! They are supposed to be white :D so maybe fix it? Thanks

@SilentAssassins Well if there aren't any Mosins, then i dont know. Finnish troops did capture many SVT-38's and SVT-40's in both wars but they mainly used their own rifles because of SVT's malfunctions and maintenance problems.

Finns maybe got/used the German Kar98K's but If the Carcano is the closest one in the moment then keep it

@Lone Wolf Just cross checked a couple sources and you're definitely right. They claim they arrived in Summer 1940 and were used in the winter war, which doesn't make sense because the Winter War ended in March. I'm guessing they meant Continuation War.

I just realized that there are no Mosin Nagant model in the game. Should I change them to a Mauser to represent early Austrian rifles? Thanks for the correction by the way, I was going to switch it to a Mosin when I noticed that the soviets look like they are using some type of SVT ingame.

So yeah Finns Did NOT use any Carcanos in Winter War, some of them did/have to use them in Continuation War tho.

I'll probably end up swapping it to the Mosin model though because of the similarities of the two rifles and the M/39 being used for frontline work.

M/38 Terni rifles were eventually sent to troops doing rear line work because they were so bad.

@Lone Wolf They did use Carcanos as well as other rifles in the Winter War. Carcanos were under the name 7,35 mm Rifle M/38 "Terni". Part of the reason that some people stole Mosins was because Carcanos are awful rifles.

@SilentAssassins Finland didn't use any Carcanos in Winter War, they used their own made M/28 "Pystykorva", M/39 "Ukko-Pekka" and M/31 "KP31,Suomi-konepistooli", M/26 "Lahti-Saloranta LS/26" and of course they used what they coould get from the enemy ex. Mosins, DP-28 "Degtyaryov", etc.

PS: Use the Mosin instead coz M/28 and M/39 are modified Mosins

@Lone Wolf Both are historically accurate because Carcanos and M/39 were heavily used during the winter war. Paradox doesn't have an M/39 model and the closest I would be able to get is the te Soviet Mosin Nagant, so I went with the Carcano instead.

Can you change the rifles to M/39 "Ukko-Pekka" so that it would be historically accurate?

@Anchovy Oh, sorry about the misunderstanding. Yeah, that makes sense. I'll consider it, but I haven't really planned when I will start any new retextures. I still need to fix a few old ones and I've been waiting for some free time to continue working on them.
