How did you do that?!

simply fantastic !!! more than lovely how the backcounter was done!!! greatest mechanism ever seen yet!
That's what my " PortCalc " should have been in the first place, but I hit the maximum item border with my concept, so it became just a 2-bit system.
But speaking of lasers: " Circle of Alive " may be your next #F4F favourite ^_-

wow, genius.
I could not work it all out with noclip.
but the results & consept is outstanding.
a couple of glitches with some panels.
but mainly worked fine.
please try my map:
"simple turret problem 6-polarity"

1 puzzle involves using a alternating polarity funel.
look forward to your feedback:)

Hello @dante, sorry for the delayed response.

I've been trying to make a How To video as you suggested, but I am having some difficulties...

In the meantime, try to poke around the map with the noclip command to see if you can figure out how to make the map. I know it is a not-answer, but as soon as I have the video made, I'll link it to the map.

Could you post a Youtube video about how to make this counter? I want to use it in my map.

@Geneosis

I initially had the numbers changing using reflective cubes, but I came across that bug and had to remake the entire number displays using only lasers and OR gates...

The first time I tried to build this concept I used a self-destroying cube in a funnel that blocked the lasers and printed out the numbers, but it turned out it re-enabled the laser too fast, which made the clock impossible to read...

Thanks for the feedback.

Wow, your counting method is just awesome! I used noclip to see the mechanism, and this is pretty cool ^^

But sadly the mechanism is not recursive... I mean, you need one moving platform for each ten numbers. I thought about a number display that could print numbers from 0 to F, using Laser cubes to make OR gates... But sadly a bug make laser cubes act like normal cube (no laser transmission) if you put too many of them in the map -_- So I abandonned this project...

Will add your map to my Map Creator Tools collection ;)
