Please make a version of the mod that uses coffee beans instead of mugs.
It costs much more to make glass mugs than to grow coffee.

It would be nice if you could make mugs to work with this? Being able to add coffee to them, and once you drink the coffee from a mug, the mug is reusable for the coffee machine... and not wasted.

I went to put the beans in the machine so i could get liquid coffee for a quest, and apparently there is a conflict with that because it wouldn't brew

HOWEVER, the mod does work as intended, by putting in a mug, i get one of the seven sweet nectars of the gods...coffee

Unfortunately this makes one of the quests I was doing impossible because upon unsubscribing to this mod, it gave me the vanilla coffee machine, which as you know, doesn't do squat.

I honestly don't, really. I prefer cola.

I wish there was a version that simply took coffee beans and made coffee without needing to use a cup or mug. Would be a nice little QoL mod.

I don't use Frackin, but this mod seems to have eaten my coffee makers and any ability I have fo make coffee makers. Unsure if there's somewhere else I should be looking to acquire new ones?

For anyone that wants to use this mod, you might want to know that it doesn't work with the Frackin Universe mod since they both change the coffee machine which causes Starbound to CTD.

It's the strangest thing. I am messing around with the recipe so it works with coffee beans instead of the glass mug. I can't get it to work with the beans. I can change the recipe to use a potato and it works. I could probably use anything but the coffee beans. Maybe it's because of another mod but it's so weird.

I mean, definitely don't use Frackin' Universe. I really don't like how repacks and overhauls steal content, roll it all into a ball, and then make all of the controversies, problems, issues, and bugs that causes the problem of other people. Using mods like that is begging for trouble and a ruined game. I like being able to choose how my game plays, so I use Workshop collections instead. I like knowing who made which mod, modders deserve that.

I completely agree with your definition of "vanilla/MP-friendly", but for your "client/server-side" definitions I would like to restate that SB has a client/server setup even in single player. Perhaps something more along the lines of "in-game", "aesthetical", or "out-of-world"? So this mod changes things in the actual game, but something like ColorBound affects the character creator which is out-of-world.

And remember: one guy's opinion does not a consensus make.

Client-side = mods that only work single player or client side but is MP-friendly, ie nothing will happen if no one else and or the server has the mods you do, just only you will see or be able to use the mods you have
Server-side = mods that MUST be hosted on the server to work, should still be able to work single player since you create a listen server anyways by default

That's how I see those terms as.

In my opinion:
Vanilla friendly = mods that complements the base game that's also lore friendly if there's any lore in the game and can be uninstalled safely without any issues
MP-friendly = mods that don't break stuff when playing multiplayer, ie crashes the server if someone joins with a mod that the server doesn't have or kicks other players out as soon as they see your character because they don't have the mods to display that awesome decked out character

Well @EinMeister, this patches an object, adds a window config and two recipes, and patches player.config. Unlike something that merely replaces an image or sound file here and there, or alters something outside of actual gameplay like the title screen, it is not safe to be the only one with this mod in a multiplayer scenario.

Assuming that's what you meant by "vanilla friendly".
