Here's a bug... Bought 5 eggs, put them on my farm, they hatched and nothing came out... Did I do something wrong? Or is it a glitch? I have Frackin Universe and a slew of other mods.

first off, you got the mod type wrong. its not a client side mod as it adds a placable item, which means if you place it, anybody in the universe (or something like that) will crash. please fix your desc.

*UPDATE* I've changed the timers from 20-30 minutes to 50-60 minutes.

I like the concept as well but I do feel it might require a higher timer. Diamonds are sadly THAT much rare drops that even a 1h timer would feel "balanced" because it's still a certified diamon versus the uncertainty of ever getting any through explorations even after 4 hours exploring.
