Good mod so far, cause the empires standard swordsmen are useless, in the late game, like u said. Any chance to combine your mod with this one: http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=698364760 ?

@Gas Head that is intended. The axemen are meant to be mid game AP units until they are supplemented/replaced by greatswords. For the swordsmen, I found the elite swordsmen to be quite potent enough into the late game, and barracks level 2 was too op so I moved them and gated them. Master swordsmen requires blacksmith 1 because for that version, the intent was you switch over to elite midgame, and then early late game you switch over to masters. of course, i'm willing to edit if there is a demand

Probably "Bug" report: Elite Swordsmen need secondary building Blacksmith. Elite Axemen and Master Swordsmen (from your other mod) don't need this. Is this on purpose?

@Dazooe Yea I've got a few other ideas that I want to try out first, I'll get to the Free company and Flagellants a bit later.And I noticed that too..my beastmen campaign came to a horrible stop when I had to fight the Elite Swordsmen

No Problems, it's the only thing I can give you since I do not have the skills to help unlike others before.
I would love to see your versions of the Free Company or Flagellants
Funny part though that after playing as the Empire and a Dwarfs I didn't take in considerations what Elite Swordsman would do the vampire counts. It seems that they get hounded haha.

yer that was exactly feeling when I started to see all of the units being added in all over the place, eventully I turned it off becauce that would get rid of all of the uniqueness from a faction. Every unit feels like it still fills a slot in the unit roster with yours.

It similar toward with Third Age Total War (don't know if you've played it or not, but one of the best total converisons out there). But more Importantitly the Divide and Conquer submod which is just an expansions towards the original. I was hesitant at first cause they would get rid of what made each faction its own like the original but now I can say with out a doubt that it is the most definitive version out there.

hey I just found your work and I really like what you've done. The ability to pick and choose, also the units that you created fill the role needed why still being quite loreful. I was just wondering if you were going to continue with other races
