I honestly just gave up and continued using the annoying bouncy effect I have to negate fall damage.

the eithian races (or w/e it's called) is abandoned, so I'd be getting nowhere with it anyway.

Hi Terra, the error suggests, as well as it being the common denominator, that this is that mod at fault so you may get more luck on that mods page - my mod makes no attempt at loading objects and just injects some lua into the player object. Good luck! Sorry I can't be of more help. :)

yeah I noticed some weird issue with literally every fall damage related mod crashing with uh, I think it's eithian races? Whatever mod adds the avikan.

I noticed this in the logs.

Really helps to not have to worry about falls when you get tech mods that further increase mobility. Higher zoom levels cause performance issues and terminal velocity makes it really hard to determine when to try to counter the fall, and it feels like by the time you get any kind of multi-jump fall damage really shouldn't be a factor.

Super perfect mod, because fall damage on a free-running (as opposed to "cinematic") side-scrollers are out of place.

I'm really glad for this, I decided to try out FU and it generates enormous hills/cliffs with wild abandon. Combining this with the terrible, floaty europlatformer-style controls (and FU's 'sliding on slopes) I find myself being more or less shot ouf oa cannon at all times when it comes to movement, so something that stops the game from punishing me for having the gall to expect to be able to move where I try to move is much appreciated.

I've had issues in the past with the uploader hating : in my strings - dunno if they fixed it yet
sometimes Steam is difficult for no reason and you just need to try again later

@Darth - I've fixed the lua version, and tested it with FR and FU, individually and together, with and without my mod - just to be safe. Problem right now is I can't upload it. Getting error 25.

Also note that "priority" is funny. Lower numbers have a higher priority thus -1 will have a higher priority than mods not setting this(default value).

But high priority mods actually load first rather than last. So they're more likely to get over-written. So if you keep the "priority" attribute you may want to change the number to 10 or something.

I'd still recommend to add
"includes" : ["FrackinUniverse", "FrackinRaces"],

I also noticed the comments on FU about this and now I see you rolled it back. But the real problem comes from load order combined with FU doing something in a very odd way in
/scripts/mm_player_primary.lua
I think that's undoing all the function hooking for any mod that loads before FU. Perhaps I should talk to them about it.

But for you the fix is easy(besides rolling back). Add to your _metadata file
"includes" : ["FrackinUniverse", "FrackinRaces"],
Then you know your file will load after these mods(if present). It seems more reliable than "priority" and you won't get an error from not having those mods.

I think I did something wrong. Your mod was working fine for me until I subscribed to another mod. I thought that unsubscribing that mod would get this working again. However, it seems the changes it made were permanent and now I can't get this mod to work again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah Frackin Universe' LUA is overwriting this one. When you switched it from the player config to LUA that's what broke it.

Frackin Universe uses a LUA script for their fall values. Now being the simpleton that I am I can only connect the word LUA between the two mods and Frackin Universe is the only mod I have in common with Draco that would make any sense.
