@Crystalblades ah, awesome. well, if you want to look into it, feel free to do so. I'm assuming it's something with the load order, as it usually is - unless some recent update had changed all the ore names or something. Didn't get to look into it yet. Since I'm guessing you're probably gonna re-upload it, I'm gonna have to check load order settings in my Mods anyway - or did you already reupload? I'm a bit out of the loop on that mod. :)

hey @amadox i've taken over updating/improving the industrialization mod and i've heard that their was problems with the lettered ores and the ise4 i was wondering if i could be of help in fixing it?

No i only know i still have a copy from when i tried unpacking the mods to figure out if i could find possible problem myself, even in chucklefish forum i could not find any explanation why it got removed

Well seems ISE is gone so you can save yourself the work unless you wanna do it for those that have it manualy

Same problem with IO, could get a temporary by unpacking the mod and rename the folder in question. ISE ore glows again but for some reason same thing did not work for LO

Hi. You might like to know that your ISE compatibility may be broken. The ISE ores are in "tiles/ores", but your replacement textures are in "tiles/mods", which means they won't actually replace the ISE graphics.

I will look into it eventually and gladly add support for that mod, but I don't know when exactly that'll be - might be a while. If you (or anyone else, for that matter) want to help/contribute meanwhile though, and know how Git works, feel free to fork this repository and send a pull request when you're done:

It's no rocket science, just a few images to add to the folder with all the other images. Hard part is finding the right file names to use, making those images look good and testing it all to make sure it
I'd gladly pack the changes, upload them, and mention your contribution if you do :) Would be a lot more benefitial than making separate mods, I think.

It's yet another mod that adds a lot of new ores. Great one, though. If you don't want/have the time to do that, would you mind if I did it myself (adding the lettering to ISE, I mean).

I really, really, like this mod. Without it, I was spending lots of time looking around for ore, since I have problems differentiating then on the screen. As of now, I still have problems with ISE's ores, that's why I'm asking.

@chronosphaenon FU should already be contained in this one (with some exceptions). I don't know what ISE4 is, quick google does not look like it adds any new ores, so I'm not sure what you are asking for.

ah, I wasn't aware they added new ones. I'll get to it as soon as I find some time again.

For some reason none of the newer FU ores work. Like tenebrium, isogen, densinium, and pyerite

@Amadox Just tested to see if the lettered ores are working now, and that would be a yes. Thank you for the fix.

I tried to fix the load order without being able to actually test it, please let me know if the issues with FU still persist using the Workshop Version.

@Red Lambet: In my current vanilla setup, the vanilla ores work as they should. I can't currently test with FU as I haven't found a way to use it on unstable, but I will keep an eye on the issue.

Further information: I have not added any mods recently that changes the ores in any way. I do have both Illuminated Ores and Frackin' Universe as well as this mod, but that's it as far as ores go.

It seems just recently that the letters are not showing up for most, if not all, of the Starbound vanilla ores, however ores introduced by Frackin' Universe still have the letters appear with the ore.

@SneakyGunz if the letters are still showing up for you: The way to tell if it's Titanium ore and not Tungsten ore; the Tungsten's T is more dull while the Titanium's T is shiny and bright. Hope that'll help step you in the right direction.

@EvGeN: Just tried it, still works for me. You might have some conflict with another mod - are you using any other mods that modify Ore in some way?

@nobody: That's because they aren't supposed to be. The Lighting in the screenshot comes from my other mod, Illuminated Ores, linked in the description under Compatibility.

The missing ores I was made aware of are now added to the mod.

As far as I can see, the mod works for 1.1 out of the box, no changes needed. If anything doesn't work, please let me know.

Neptunium's missing, and I'm finding it a little tricky to distinguish between lead and lazulium in darker conditions.

If there were more space for the lettering (hmm, scaling the image? If the game will happily show 16×16 where it normally shows 8×8…), I'd suggest a dual strategy: lower-case for ores which don't correspond to elements, and the element symbols (e.g. Pb) for those which do.

@[SC] Kapten112: Vermutlich hat Steam dann den Mod noch nicht runtergeladen, das machts leider nicht immer sofort. Versuch mal das Spiel und Steam komplett abzudrehen und neuzustarten, dann klappt das meistens.

Issue resolved, the mod works with Frackin' Universe now out of the box, when FU is found, without requiring any additional mods or anything.

@DinoDisaster: Yes, this is actually what I was working on the other day. Problem is: Even with that dedicated mod requiring FU, the load order didn't work as intended. I am still looking into that though.

@Leaf: As discussed further below, no, sadly not possible, at least to my knowledge.

@Amadox wouldn't it be simpler to have a copy of the mod instead, where one requires Fracking Universe, and one does not. instead of having to edit the mod?

@Lord Dawnfall - Yes this is "Ugly", but it is a mod for convinence, not beauty. Don't like it, Don't use it. I certainly appreciate this mod.

I use it together with Illuminated Ores, where Illuminated Ores makes Fracking Universe ores glow, letters only show on some of my ores.
