im on 0.9.5.17 cuz the original wont work, and nothing is there, how the crap do i import custom models and maps into the game cuz nothing appears.

@Mister Mad... Not being proficient with creating actual TF2 texture myself, I merely asked that you post yours, if you do make them. Totally optional. I have had ppl reskin other models I've posted (adding phong or envi masks, etc) and just wanted to let you know that I have no problem with you using the model and applying them if you did.

I've included a link to Doc_Ock_Rokcs' video on how to set up a RT Camera in the description. The process is fairly simple. Once the RT Camera is set up, just switch to a skin that has the RT Screen and you're off to the races...

I have no problem with that. If you can come up with a better skin, please do, but I ask that you post it to the workshop for others to use as well. That would be greatly appreciated.

I see, but it certainly did not translate well into the Source Engine.
Looks like I'm gonna have to take things into my own hands and crack open Photoshop for a bit of a repaint, once I get around to using your model.

You see, that's the problem. I used fills and generators in SP2 to paint this, not brushes and stoking layers. If you throw this model into a PBR shader type environment, it looks like a real van. If I was entering this to the TF2 Workshop, I probably would have done it the old fashion way. But, it's your choice, you can sub it or not. It won't be retextured.

I still nonetheless feel that it's a bit too intense for TF2's aesthetic. Details should be produced using gradients and broad brushstrokes, with filters mainly being used for subtle adjustments. You might wanna take a look at the old, "Illustrative Rendering in TF2" document for more reference.

Sure, it's gonna take some extra effort, but you'll probably achieve a much better result doing so.

nah. I used a tank skin filter and thickened the paint.

I feel that you went a bit too overboard with the noise filter you applied to the van's texture.
