fun ,tricky turret map

Used first one button then the other. The second was a real eye opener. Great map. Had fun finding the two paths.

@buff00n : Well in fact I think the way you used was the first solution I expected X) But Metzger Ben found an easier one :p

I found a third way, kind of. You can actually run past the turrets on the top level if you time it right. You show yourself just long enough for all of them to start looking around, then run back and wait until they just start to go back into "sleep mode". You'll know it when the laser sights snap back to front and bounce up and down slightly. At that point you have about two extra seconds to run past before they can wake up again and shoot you. This is just enough time to get past them and down to the lowel level. Granted, that's way harder than either of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ solutions.

Once again, I'm not sure this was exactly the expected solution... But it was a nice one, so I keep it as a walkthrough ;)

Indeed I did. Took a few laps around the map before I found it. 1 deviation + 1 deviation = 1 hidden path.

@NiclO : If you talk about rollercoaster, I suppose you got the "hidden path" ^^

LOL - helped me get to the otherside and then killed me! Why did I need to go to the other side?

Hem faith plates are supposed to help going to the other side... In case you would like to do so X)

Really nice logic map - I enjoyed it but ... I didn't use the faith plates at all ... I did try one to see what it did and it threw me into the goo ??? Of course I hadn't saved and had to start again!!!!

@Mr.Johno : Well, this is not obviusly forbidden... If you can shoot a portal there, do it :p

I portal snipied the left back wall from the left portal bridge enterance. interesting map.

I barely barely managed to solve it, It took quite a long time!! But good map ;)

I started the map below,
to show you what I ment about using panels,
so we can see turrets die.

Well this seems to be the "visible" way ^^ For the "hidden" way you have to place the cube on the other button ;)

don't know which method this is ?
I stepped on the button, to drop cube to lower light bridge.
used portals & light bridges to get on grating above it & jumped.
used light bridges & portals, to get cube back by button.
set up a portal / light bridge from panel to button /exit area.
then went to opposite button, put cube on it, to open exit door.
put a portal on floor, near entrance & went through it,
then walked along bridge to exit area, turned & exited.

Fun little map. I believe I found the standard way, but I'll go looking for the hidden way now :p Good use of turrets.

Well if the solution you found implies to place the cube on the button that "only" desactivate the light bridge to get the cube, this is the secret path ^^

I liked this map very much, at first you stare at the exit. Then you start to think how to get there. You find out what the other button is for and so on ... Great design! :)
I believe I have found the secret path. You can shoot a portal in the far left corner so can walk to the exit very easily Is that the hidden path?

The solution isn't too difficult, but the map is very suspenseful; good show.

@Erock Finally some feedback, thanks ^^ So if you talk about the faith plates you can see on the preview of the level, they are part of the visible path ;) The hidden one is really more tricky :p Tell me if you find it ^^
Hint : You need to place the cube on the other button...

And jumping from the top level using the corner is totally expected ^^ The faith plates are there to make it harder ;)

You should not suppose that #F4F maps have every time a bad conception : I often use #F4F until I got a minimum of feedback, bug correction and rating...

I like the map! I appriciate being able to see everything and think it through. It was challenging enough to be interesting, but nothing was frustrating about it. I never used the faith plates and I assume they are the other solution. However I didnt read the description of the puzzle till after I solved it so i thought i glitched it, and wondered WTF the faith plates were for, consider making only 1 solution. I jumped from the side towers to the button, and assume thats what is supposed to happen, but playing #F4F you're never really sure what people intended. I had fun with this map thank you! #F4F please!
