This is a great asset but the fact that it has three pantographs is really weird.
Mazisky 17 sep, 2019 @ 6:04
LoL, why this is the only tram in workshop with night lights and other tram modders don't do that? i don't know if it is difficult to make them but gj!

Jonathonas 5 aug, 2016 @ 6:43
u don't
goksnedeh 5 aug, 2016 @ 6:10
@Stealthy: You have the Snowfall DLC, right? Both of the construction selections for roads and for public transportation (under trams) have the option to build roads with embedded rails.
Jonathonas 1 aug, 2016 @ 10:04
but in the game i cant get the tram lines on the roads like the picture
Jonathonas 1 aug, 2016 @ 10:03
i know what a tram is xD
Mechalic 1 aug, 2016 @ 1:35
Maximum1lol : I think we are all confused by what your talking about? It seems you have never heard of or seen a tram before, because trams have always since inception in the 1800s run on rails, that are built into the road. That alone is what defines a tram over a train. This asset is for a tram, not a train, hence it runs on tram lines. #BeyondBelief
Jonathonas 30 jul, 2016 @ 13:27
on the picture is it like the tram is driving on rails but the reails is on the road
BloodyPenguin  [skapare] 30 jul, 2016 @ 12:59
@Maximum1lol What do you mean?
Jonathonas 29 jul, 2016 @ 13:09
How did you get the tram line on the road?
sepruecom 27 jul, 2016 @ 5:32
@Mechalic: that's a completely different design. That FF type tram has 2 axes under every single part, while those "normal" 5 part trams only have them under every second part. The FF design resembles this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADtranz_low_floor_tram (though they are not made by Adtranz), while your Hiroshima tram resembles what we call "Multigelenkwagen" in German (sadly I did not find a translation to English for that). That type is/was martketed as "Combino" by Siemens (not Combino Supra), "Incentro" by Bombardier, "Citadis x02" by Alstom or "Urbos" by CAF, and might be the most popular low floor tram configuration existing to date...

So that's why I wrote "of that kind of model". There are many designs which do support 5-car trams, just the design of these Frankfurt types doesn't (easily) ;-)

But don't worry about it, it's a game after all, physics don't always apply to it...

So, yeah, I'm a nerd *fg*

Oh I love it, I am just saying that sic02 saying that 5 car trams don't exist, is untrue.
BloodyPenguin  [skapare] 18 jul, 2016 @ 9:11
@Mechalic @sic02 I only made this version because @Joak asked me :) No real reasoning behind it
Mechalic 18 jul, 2016 @ 3:48
sic02, there are plenty of 5 part trams, such as this one in Hiroshima; http://www.johnallantravel.co.uk/wwwjohna/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Hiroshima-Tram.jpg
sepruecom 8 jul, 2016 @ 19:41
Fun Fact: It would be actually complicated to build this tram in real life. This is due to the fact that the 3-part trams (which are the original design used in Frankfurt) and 2/4/6-part trams are fundamentally different designs on a technical layer. Since the third part tends to swerve heavily in curves, it would be pretty hard to connect another 2-part tram module to it. There is a reason why a five-part tram of this kind of model was never built in real life ;-)
Slick Gamble 6 jul, 2016 @ 18:22
Best looking tram is now an actual tram. :D
MrMiyagi 1 jul, 2016 @ 14:25
