undead orcs would b a cool mod like basicly make them all have the undead buff , combined with this for the magic tree then they would have fobbiden lore anyway XD make up some lore of how they suddenly died from infighting

I mean, if NPCs can learn these spells, and actually have the AI to use them, then maybe it wouldn't be so bad since it could even the playing field, but, there is one absolute extreme abuse case that would be the most brokenly OP thing ever...

Archeon the Everchosen could literally solo armies by himself with this ability.

By default, no, Invocation of Nahek and its upgrade have invalid target flags set up for living units, meaning it won't work on those units.
If that's something you want changed (so that it does work on living units as well as dead units), I'll go ahead and make a mod for it, but I'll keep it separate from these in case others feel it's too cheaty.

So wait, I want to double-check, can use Invocation of Nahek on none-undead units to heal/raise them?

It says 'Target if: Undead', so I thought that wouldn't work?

While it's not something I have experience doing, it doesn't seem like it'd be difficult to do since there's already an example of it going on with chaos and the vampire counts. It isn't something I'm planning on for the immediate future, but it's certainly something worth exploring.

Having access to raise dead "mercenaries" would be ideal for your mods, also.. can you perhaps make new lords? The Empire has its own stock of mage agents, if some of these agents were converted into "lords" it would make a lot more sense, because most Empire Lords are made of Empire Captains, plus.. Balthasar Gelt is a fine example of Wizard Lords

You certainly can raise them in battle, but unfortunately that's all you can do with this mod (though combine that with a mod that edits/removes the limit on raise dead and it's worth speccing on its own for the ability to make scary units appear behind enemy lines).

As for giving access to the raise dead 'mercenaries' for other factions, I searched in vain when I made the azhag crown dual magic mod, since it would have been pretty cool for Azhag to be able to raise dead in campaign in addition to outside of battle. If there's a way to make it happen, it's probably out of my understanding atm, but I haven't given up on the thought.

You sure you want to place vampire magic in that tree? I mean.. you can't have undead units as the empire unless... you raise them in Battle? it would be AWESOME if there was a way for Vampire Lore users/empire necromancers to gain the option to "raise undead" in the campaign map if they had a skill
