As someone who has studied much into political theory "Totalitarianism" will yes it exist is not an Ideology from the sense Ideology is used, an Ideology "A system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy." Which is what Ideology is

Totalitarianism is "A system of government that is centralized and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state." which may sound like an Ideology but firstly it does not follow this, primarily due to the lack of anything else that confirms Ideology, rather instead it is a political system which shares similar themes of what an Ideology could be.

Finally it is as much of an Ideology as Capitalism is a system of governance.

Generally speaking @RozzaWuzHear is telling the truth but @Raubritter is misinterpreting the general factual statement.

I love how people confuse totalitarianism with facism and communism as if they were the same. Totalitarinism being the centralized power under the ruler, ideas like Facism and Communism are merely offshoots from the original idea.

If you have problems with mod not working on newer versions, do this:
in the descriptor.mod file of the mod (should be inside of .zip) search line "supported version" or sth like that, then change the number to "1.4.*"

It is a little sad that paradox never added some kind of totalitarian uniform ingame considering there is a dictatorship government form there
