The icon always shows up if you have a great person selected. If it's not showing up, it's possible there's a conflict with another mod you are using preventing Shang's lua from firing.

It is likely an error with the Steam Workshop, not the mod. You can try re-subscribing in game or use the "direct download" link at the bottom of the description to manually install the mod.

- Fixed an issue with an e&d decision no reapplying the bonus if you lost your capital
- Increased the faith bonus from sacrifices by ~20%

Should still work with v.18 saves.

If you mean in terms of a translation, I am unable to translate the mod into Russian myself. However, if you can provide a translation I would be happy to add it. Otherwise the mod also needs BNW.

Secondly, I don't say Shang is the first dynasty with evidence. I say Shang is the first dynasty with BOTH documentary and archaeological evidence. To date, there is no archaeological evidence confirming the Xia dynasty.

The Shang dynasty is the earliest dynasty with a contemporaneous historical record and Wu Ding is the earliest Chinese king with a contemporaneous historical record. As N-Sign pointed out, the earliest documentary evidence for the Xia dynasty dates to the Zhou dynasty. That is not to say Xia definitely did not exist. Shang was thought to by legendary until the discovery of the oracle bones and current archeology is attempting to correlate Xia with Erlitou archeological sites.

"however, no mention of the Xia, or the supposed conquest of the Xia by the Shang, is found in any oracle bones found to date. The first documentary reference to the Xia dates from more than a thousand years later."
