Hey all. Just downloaded this map and I was hoping someone would be able to assist me in building arterials, collectors, and local roads. Unfortunately I'm terrible at this aspect of the game. If anyone has any suggestions or even a basic road guidline network they'd be able to share, I'd greatly appreciate the help. Great map!

Hey Mulleboy.. I was wondering if this map is made out of an worldmap? I have played this map by far the most over the years and made my own version of it.. And i would like to do this in CS:2 also.. So it would be easier if is had an worldmap..

While the map is ok, it's small, and doesn't take advantage of the 81 tiles mod. It has way less tiles than that. I was disappointed to find that out once I was already well in an advanced state with my city

For me, this is the basty map ever for CS.. I believe I have around 400 hours on this map alone.. I Highly moddified it though, but still the best map idea i have ever seen.. Is this taken from any real place?.. I hope this can be in CS2 also..

Love this map. However I made a version which adjusts few details to my liking (simpler junction, remove railway from middle of the highway and even more flat!).

Having some issues with trains leaving (going off the map), keep backing up into the first included interchange, which in turn backs up most train traffic. Is there any way of fixing this?

Best map for real life cities builders, im trying to do my homeland but those santard maps with small space and not so much flat terrain was so annyoing, but thanks i can finnaly build it!, btw guys, i reccomend use 81 tiles mod to play with unlimited power of building:steammocking:

This map is one of my favorites. Some guys mentioned they had traffic problems caused by the start intersection. Doing some tweaks following lane mathematics will fix this. I have build up several big towns (150k pop, 370k pop and my last one with 590k pop) without any traffic related problems.

is this supposed to be the "GREAT PLAIN"? LOL.. because "Plan" is like a "plan" for a robbery heist or something like that.. Plane is the transportation that flies in the air, and "PLAIN" is a flat parcel of land which is good to build big cities on.. english is pretty stupid sometimes

@jrsofty - it's designed for a specific set of railroad / highway intersections

I posted a fixed version but I always have to add my own branches, considering simply re-releasing with redone infrastructure.

Having the train tracks running in the median between the highways makes it nearly impossible to use trains.

The starting junction looks nice at first but soon you will realise all the turning paths underground cross-over each other causing traffic problems, also unrealistic turning roads if you're into that.

@Ladytiger @Emiricol4Rl - yes that's essentially what I fixed in my version. Turns the diagnosis is correct. It can be difficult to fix "cross the line" because of a bug and vanilla game limitation with "undeleting railroad connections" you can sometimes screw yourself out of a direction and you have to fix it every time you start the game.

regarding the railway between the highways and how to get it out... cant you just tunnel out? continue the straight line of tracks, gradually go underground, from there you can go whichever way you need to

Love this map! Not subbing due to the recent issues found in comments, but I'm going to Favorite your maps and sub to your workshop. I can only imagine how much time you spend on each map, they're so well put together!
