designed the "galaxy" portion in PS using several brushes and pattern stamps, applied and grafted it using 3D Coat. I have to go back in and tweak a few things. There's a part in there somewhere throwing it off a little bit. Work in progress. I just started so as I develop my techniques I'll be able to better skin weapons.

I don't like these kinds of skins because it looks like the texture was plastered over the UVs, rather than actually being a pattern designed around the shape of the weapon. It reminds me a lot of the Supernova skin for the P250. But that's just me. How did you make this design, might I ask?
