I saw someone post in workshop discussions if you revert to version 1.2.2 sub to the mods then upgrade they will stay not 100% atm if this will work.

Thanks for the reply Cata - love your content - it just messes up the conquest mode to unplayable framerates and lock ups for some reason.

I'm still alive, just not active with the game or my mods, I'll try to look into this when I have time and motivation, but I haven't touched it in 4 years so I'll need to kludge a solution

Yeah the mod is unfortunately unusable due to the overworld map impact it has. Ideally I'd love to be able to install just the new parts and research separately, as that seems to work just fine.

Long time player of this mod and game (haven't played in long while, but with diplomacy update planning on getting back into it) and do hope you do revival of this mod, and agree that you should add parts overtime as you rework it and put most of the more unique tech stuff at the end of tree, also recommend breaking off the factions and monster featured within this mod to be broken off into their own mod/ This my opinion on it, and I do hope you post that survey soon

In my opinion, you could keep this as a Legacy version, and have a new version, that is a revival. Updated over time to restore parts of this mod. I would also prefer a more simplified Tech Tree, or atleast one were most unique additions are toward the end. Though I don't speak for everyone, and a Survey would probably indeed be helpful to figure out what most people would probably actually want.

I'd kill to get a version of this that's just the parts without the monsters and factions. There are a few specific parts I enjoy, but there's a bunch of cheese parts I don't use that is on the AI stuff and it's absolutely annoying to fight against. And consistently overwhelms the base game AI's so I'm stuck just fighting these cheese clones.

Mod still works for the most part. One of the techs that i could not get to trigger in conquest are the clockwork modules. Shame because they were my favorite. Other than that everything seems to work. I wish this mod would get updated, even after all these years this mod adds things i wish the base game had in some shape or form.

The only way to save the save is to not only remove the template but also the already built bikes from their possession in the save file, also please check when I last updated the mod

Me and my friends would like to file a formal complaint against your mod good sir. It seems as though the ai has taken a liking to using the flying suspendium bikes. The problem is that we got stormed by 200 "hypoborean super bikes", and our save is ruined. If you could find it in your heart to remove these bikes from the enemy ai blueprints, it would be most appreciated.

If you do decide to come back id suggest doing so after the diplomacy update, dont want you putting in the work and then having to redo it after diplomacy update launches

Also, I need to see what other mods are actively being used and to not conflict with what they are doing by adding a worse version of their gun/module/tech. Though I have given my general permission to take assets of the mod to make something new and better with(provided you cite me in the credits), in case there's a modder/dev that's inspired by this past work of mine.

it's been dead for a long time, you're just noticing it right now, most errors are just unfinished assets and should not break the game unless Zark changed things in the last 4 years that would do that.

I may, at some point, revisit and redo the mod if I get into the game again, in the heyday of me actively modding I've always tried to add things that weren't done before or weren't being done well, it's why I didn't add a terrible amount of guns.

One of the things that I need to do is see what's still useful to keep around since I added things that later on were added by the basegame in a better way(zark probably "patched" features that I was exploiting to make things work in the mod).

The mod hasn't been updated in 1.5 years, I think people can assume that there are bugs and incompatibilities with the current verison of the game.

@usher879 The maintenance is negative, which tells you how much it makes. Just place it down and see how much your maintenance cost changes.

How do I even get the mech suit on the campaign? It seems to be on the research tree when I check its requirements but I can't find it anywhere, and I'm not 100% sure from which mod the broken research tree area is from, but is it in there?

When generating "wild" maps, I sometimes get a map item generated which says in red on the screen "?HORROR_TERROR_FRIENDLY_NAME:" and it has no description, but whatever it is is giving +1000% income to the town in its area.

The artwork that shows with the missing description says "-a atempted drawing of a clockwork sample" (and yes, it says atempted not attempted)

Do the AI factions still spam out tiny units that crash the game over time with this mod? It's the one complaint I've seen repeated that makes me hesitant to use this.

@Lung I encouner the same issues, given enough time the campaign comes to a standstill. I haven't had much luck diagnosing the problem but it's definitely tied to Cataclysm.

Every time I enable the mod in the settings, the design screen in Conquest is really stuttery :(
