I'm also getting this issue on the Canaria map. Theme is activated in the Content Manager, I've selected it in the New Game window, but then I get the error message saying the theme could not be found and a default theme will be used.

OK guys I will update this tomorrow and try to upload it again but I didnt hear this from anyone else. hope it will resolve ur issue

today i wanted to give the theme a try on my existing savegame (new caledonia tropical map).
after loading with the theme changer mod installed all was looking like in my old theme. in this the biggest difference to your pictures seems to be the mountains, mine were still very dark. so i am sure the theme was not loaded (correctly).

i guess i have the same issue like jogador_supresa. without the error message. just wanted to let you know.

@Jogador_Surpresa the theme is very different from original game - look at the pics on my Canaria map - that's how it suppose to look. It's tropical theme which doesnt work with any other climate like boreal... but it definetely works with Canaria map. when you load the map without using Theme does it look like on my pics?

@mrmichael both the map and the theme pack are active in game, already tried to unsubscribe/resubscribe. Same issue still happens.
But I wonder if this is a false error. Maybe the theme is loading correctly but I can't identify it because it's very similar to original game?
Is there a specific detail that your theme pack has that can help me say if it's on or not comparing to the original theme?

@Jogador_Surpresa Did you activated it in content manager after subscribing? It's under Map Themes! If not - try to unsubscribe and subscribe again

@[NL]LUURT probably because it was made actually only for tropical in new theme editor. Hope it works for you. Might also interfere with Terrain Themes Mod if you have it installed - it made textures in vanilla Snowfall maps flickering!

somehow it showed up at tropical themes after unsubscribing, seems like this whole theme thing is still verry prone to bugs

theme doesnt show up for tropical maps, only for temperate...
