@Dwindlin This is still untested in hamlet, you can test it by yourself. There is no risks for your saves ;)

Ehm, but aren't the lantern and glass bottle infinite already? When I play the Game, I throw a Lantern on the Ground, leave the Game and start the Game and I have an Infinit light Source. A built in Bug I use often for Base building in Caves or Lights Out worlds. =D

Hi, i found a bug with lantern in world connected with SW and i found a way to fix it.
Just delete that line in code with else and both lanterns will work.

Hmmm actually there is a similar mod - not having that problem with that one. It's "Path Lights" mod. Lights there are weaker, but they do not turn off. But then again - Your mod modifies existing objects... Path lights just add the new ones. Maybe that's the case somehow :o

I think this bug is the entities loading in the world I have this bug too but I have not fix for it, report it to Klei

I found a bug - with SW compatible ROG map - like E.Seed said - the bottle works fine, BUT only till I change map. Example: I've placed bottles in ROG map. They glow. When I go to SW map or CAVES map and then go back to ROG map, the bottles are still there but not glowing. When I hover the cursor above them it says: "Turn Off". So the game sees the bottle as "glowing" but they are not emitting light. Only solution is to pick the bottle and place it again or simply click this "Turn Off" and then "Turn On" again... Pretty annoying I must say.

It's only working for vanilla and RoG. In SW or SW-compatible games lanterns run out of fuel. Only tried lanterns though, bottle lanterns need confirmation.

@Orkka354, the lantern will still ON. The only way to turn off is to write in console 'GetClock():MakeNextDay()' or crash your save

Huh good mod if ya just want to have fun and make a midnight base for fun but isn't the exploit still in the game if you leave a lantern on and on the ground and then save and quit it will be infinate?

Only the bottle lantern and the miner lantern.
For boat you just have to hold one with a sail and a normal boat lantern just in case ;)
