My only major suggestion is to add optional clocks or monitors for recurring threats such as Hounds/Crocodogs, and especially for Eruptions during Dry Season in Shipwrecked.
This does show more things than that, which the game normally keeps hidden, like temperature and seasons. But really learning those requires a lot of trial and error and probably dying, so if that doesn't sound fun to you (or you would consider looking those up on a wiki or something), then this will just shortcut any frustration you'd have with that.
This information can be displayed at any time
Health value (move the mouse over the target to display the maximum value)
Hunger value (same as above)
Spiritual value (same as above)
Player temperature, world temperature, naughtiness value
Seasonal clock, moon position (including full and waning moons)
All of this information can be adjusted in the Mod configuration.
