It's all good. I'm sure most everyone that doesn't mod doesn't know the limitations.
SandboxFox 4. Sep. 2017 um 14:51
kk my bad

Seeing as it has angled pieces, I'd still have to animated it. I also couldn't make the piston head be a landing gear. It has to be a piston head type for the game to be able to add it.
SandboxFox 4. Sep. 2017 um 7:52
you should make it a piston but with a landing gear instead of a head but keep these textures and stuff you wont need to animate it as much
EMU_Screamu 24. Sep. 2016 um 3:20
instead of as a 1x1x3 static, make it a 1x1x2 retractable where the pads basically sit nubbed outward when retracted, so the feet keep a low profile when they rertact as well as extend to a full 1x1x3
Shaostoul  [Autor] 6. Juni 2016 um 13:12
Static, I don't think I'd be able to properly animate it for the purpose of being retractable and keep it as a single block.
Sasquatch 6. Juni 2016 um 11:26
Is this retractable or static?

UPDATE:
Balance has been reworked to more closely be akin to vanilla blocks.
Master Pack added at the end of all the updates.
More info to be added to the workshop descriptions after updates are done uploading.

I have other people that are much more adept at programming than I am that can look at it. I hadn't heard from the original author, but there are a couple programmers working on an entirely new cloaking mod. So, there will be no copyright sort of issues since it'll be entirely new code. If you have any personal requests for the cloaking mod, make sure to post it here, for now it'll be the 'official' communication spot unless it gets too much traffic.
Pharap 6. März 2016 um 14:20
If they agree to it, you've got your work cut out. The code is very messy.
Shaostoul  [Autor] 4. März 2016 um 14:04
I'll see about asking the original author first.

........(i am batman) ANNNY way could you prehaps revie the cloked ship mod? the URL is http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=324367199&searchtext=cloak

Shaostoul  [Autor] 3. März 2016 um 18:28
Yes, that information appears in the title, description, and picture.

lol, I use rotors alot so I expect my ships to blow up but they usually don't
Shaostoul  [Autor] 18. Dez. 2015 um 17:08
You don't need to test the rotatable ones, unless you want to. I expect them to be dangerous.
Lazy Invincible General 18. Dez. 2015 um 17:06
sure, just gotta figure out how to use them.
Shaostoul  [Autor] 18. Dez. 2015 um 14:39
To my understanding, that's just an issue with landing gear. Until I have more time to sink into Embers stuff, would you mind testing my landing skids here and see if they're not as explodey as well? http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=491328509
Lazy Invincible General 18. Dez. 2015 um 10:21
I do hope that we can have a large ship version eventually, would be nice to have a landing gear that doesn't randomly blow up
Shaostoul  [Autor] 17. Dez. 2015 um 22:25
Okay, cool. As long as it's working decently, I get to work on other things.
Lazy Invincible General 17. Dez. 2015 um 19:55
not that I know of, works better than the base landing gear so far
Shaostoul  [Autor] 17. Dez. 2015 um 19:07
Glad to hear it's working well. No issues with the off collision yet?
Lazy Invincible General 17. Dez. 2015 um 18:46
better than some of my pictures, also on a side not, works well with my winged Fighter
Shaostoul  [Autor] 17. Dez. 2015 um 18:44
Yeah, sorry, it's sitting on small blocks, I should've taken a picture a little further back.
Lazy Invincible General 17. Dez. 2015 um 17:21
ok, just making sure because it looked like a large ship one from the picture
Shaostoul  [Autor] 17. Dez. 2015 um 16:03
No, there is not. Most of Embers stuff was intended as small ship stuff.
Lazy Invincible General 17. Dez. 2015 um 13:19
is there a large ship version?
Shaostoul  [Autor] 13. Dez. 2015 um 13:45
I don't think it's a Keen issue. I think it's more of an issue that the mods are super old, so that there are just some issues with how the game handles them now.
Mojo 13. Dez. 2015 um 7:00
@ Rhedd I don't think you will have any major problems with them.. I tested them pretty hard last night I had no noticable issues. :)
Rhedd 13. Dez. 2015 um 3:04
Huh. Interesting. Is this a new problem, or was it present in the original? I never noticed a problem with it, but then I only used it as "hands", not as actual landing gear, and I haven't tried it since they changed the whole way ships are handled when docked to each other (which screwed up a number of things that used to work for me!)

Thanks for the heads-up, though. I'll test them out carefully. I usually play in creative, so even the worst disaster is minor. ^_^
Shaostoul  [Autor] 13. Dez. 2015 um 0:58
Just be careful, there's a tidbit under the WARNING section. The collision is messed up and fixing it isn't the easiest thing.
Rhedd 13. Dez. 2015 um 0:28
Cool! I'd actually forgotten that I used this on all of my little cargo-moving tugboats. Now I can have those back in DX11! Thanks!
