Yeah, I think we can all agree that we don't won't Brynjolj, approaching us and prompting up the thieves guild mission campaigne.

Works as advertised Brynjolf minds his own buisness so no RR into being a Thieff.....only one thing I think could make this mod better as an option instead of Robbing Madesi to set up Brand Shei with his ring Double cross ole Brynjolf and plant the ring ON HIM and have BOTH Madesi and Brand- Shei beat the stuffing out of Brynjolfs pompous ass before the Guards ( somerwhat mercifly ) drag him off to jail. ( imagine Brynns shocked look when the guards tell HIM to turn out his pockets and madesi's ring pops out when he expects it to be on Brand- Shei)

Seems to be working so far Brynnlolff is keeping his Nprd mpouth shut and the more h e dous so the better/.

I like the look of this mod.....#1My character's is ALWAYS one thing "a HERO"" law abiding do the RIGHT thing sort,,,,,,,I HATE thieves and cant STAND the thieves questline....if I had a choice when brynjolf would try to RR my character into being a thief Bryn wuld wake up in the nearest Canal in riften after My character BTC outta him and threw him in there.Any thieves trying to pick his pocket would end up MINUS a HAND....I hope this mod works as advertised.

This mod was a great Mod to all those who dislike the whole questline..Shame you stop updating this as it was, simple and working mod without the bells and whistles and MCM etc..Thankyou anyway, I still used this mod at times...it did work up to this date and point ....Not sure it will work now, since the new upgrade of steamworkshop!

Happy New Year, everyone! And thank you for the support and kind words. While I don't often have the time to respond to individual comments, I do check back here occasionally to read what people post. It's encouraging to see that my work is still being appreciated and making a difference in peoples' games.

Just cheking all my mods, to see if I have the THUMBS UP activatet on all the mods i uns, which all you creative people out there deserve!

sorry but I am new to mods and cannot get nexus to work [even with hubbies help] can anyone put it on steam if it's not too much trouble please - the extended one that stops all the nasty stuff from adding to my game and i never use - the choice is yours - is what it's called in nexus, much appreciate all the work that goes into these they have breathed new life into the game for me cheers

My only complaint is that it frustrating if you have a character that wants to join the guild.

If the quest marker's already there, does the mod still work?

Bandits are dishonest. I am honest. I took the money from bandits, earnings which are sanctioned by the Jarl!

I use this mod every playthrough!! Love it! I like to feel like I actually earned the skills to be approached by a member of the Thieves Guild (i head to riften after helgen and it's so annoying when he talks to me immediately when I haven't done anything in the game yet) also gives me motivation to increase my skills.

You should consider one about joining the college of winterhold only when you have a certain level in like, 2 magic schools or something. Anyway, great mod!!

I've always hated the fact that he believes I never earned the gold I carry I did earn it....most of it..... but that don't mean I want to join the Thieves's guild

Love the mod, I simply wanted it to keep Brynjolf from talking to me when I didn't want him to, however, I created a thief character, one thing led to another, and I unsubscribed. However, I approached Brynjolf but he still refused to recruit me, still acting as if the mod was still installed. Any help with that?

Just tested this mod. Finaly I no longer have to do some really akward moving when trying to trade with the more honest merchants at the Riften town sqaure.

about to do some testing with a new game and what will happen when i have to talk to him to get the guy out of the ratway on the main quest line????

Smart! Perfect for my "vanilla" playthroughs.

Although I like the Skyrim Thieves Guild questline the Oblivion one is way, way better.

I cannot tell you what a relief it is not to have Brynjolf spring something one you before you feel that you are ready to attempt tp join the guild. i also like what you did with the potions, both the perks and penalties of it. You clearly thought this out carefully and it works very well. Its good fun and I thoroughly recommend it.

I don't like the theives guild but the nightingales are awesomesauce! Ugh I had to join theives guild to get nightingales questline though.

lol I'd never become a thieves guild member if I went with this lol I'm not big on doing it just for the hell of it lol. Though it would be nice if he'd mind hiw own wealth lol. Though it would make better sense if you got the money through dirty dealings and not just have a lot of money which, if you bring it up with Brynjolf, you'll find out the guard that tries to tax you on your way into riften is connected to the thieves guild lol.

As a companion player I've always found that questline to be rather rude so this is a needed mod.

could you make some kind of work around mod for having to do so many small jobs in between the City influence quests? i hate having to do those repetitive quests in order to upgade the theives guild.
