Halo Caligula first of all thanks for this mod great work, i'm in the middle of working my own mod as well and i saw the armour used by Cynane would be fitting for one or two of my female warriors, may use the assets for my mod? Thanks in advance.

Created units appear invisible in non-playable factions and factions like Syracuse ... among others ...
Is there a solution for these errors? ...:featherduster::cleanhourglass:

Anyone know of a way to make this mod(or another mod like this) that work with DEI? Any chance someone has made a DEI version?
Царьпростоцарь 4 jan, 2019 @ 18:56
Great mod, thanks! But can you made Hannibal?
Capt. Picolinni 2 jan, 2019 @ 0:16
Does anyone have any idea about what can be done to make this mod run with the latest version and DLC? Since the creator is no longer updating this and the ne DLC I always get a CTD when this is selected. Damn it, I want Cynane to be in my armies agian!
Aurelian 8 dec, 2018 @ 6:31
Hi ,do you keep the Total War: ARENA (steam version)'s pack files? I hope to get some model that wargamming version doesn't have.
vonVince 3 dec, 2018 @ 9:20
Sad to hear that you've left the modding scene - this was a great mod : (
Ben Dover 2 dec, 2018 @ 16:04
Sad that You stopped modding. I'm using Your mods in TW:W and this is only good looking mod with unique leaders for Rome II. It could have made my game more fun. Real and unique leaders.
I also use mod that changes Octavian a bit and removes Cleopatra helmet.
Thanks for making all Your mods.
Good luck.
Caligula  [skapare] 1 dec, 2018 @ 14:27
I've stopped modding, and tbh the Sulla model from Arena looks kinda ♥♥♥♥. Also I'm not sure whether I can export it, since they encypted the game files or something.
Gnuśniarz 1 dec, 2018 @ 7:12
Sulla?
Caligula  [skapare] 12 sep, 2018 @ 5:25
idk, I haven't touched this mod in 2 years and I've quit modding
Avocadolf 12 sep, 2018 @ 3:40
Does they appear randomly during the grand campaign?
Havie 30 aug, 2018 @ 8:34
Thanks for the info, I havent played TW arena yet, so idk any of the characters, if id want them, or why. I only made that other mod as a favor per request. Dont have any further mod plans atm
Caligula  [skapare] 29 aug, 2018 @ 0:49
Btw, you can extract the new Total War Arena models using RPFM now. I looked at the Commander models though, and I've gotta say that it looks like the level of quality has gone down and they look kinda ♥♥♥♥.

idk whether you'd be allowed to use the new Arena models, they went to a bit of trouble to lock the files and make it so you couldn't open any of them.
Caligula  [skapare] 27 aug, 2018 @ 17:26
I don't have Rome 2 installed anymore, but lets just say the variantmeshdefinition for one unit looks like this: https://pastebin.com/raw/Xqzzq9j0

You would then add create a new slot, and add the cinematic model to it, eg like this: https://pastebin.com/raw/J1qLP79i

Then you would save that new variantmeshdefinition as the general's cinematic model, and use that for its campaign map model. This mod is out of date, and it didn't work 100% but look how I did it here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=487292147
Havie 27 aug, 2018 @ 12:38
okay, that is helpful info, and im almost following you- ToonTotalWar has forgotten alot and is telling me i have to rename the test_general.rigid_model to match some name of my general and place it under skin.

Now this makes no sense to me, because (lets assume test_general is just eyeballs like you said) replacing my generals arms , with eyeballs makes the arms disapear.. likewise, if I point to test_general and fire up the mesh, it appears blank but hold holding its weapon and flag correctly.
Caligula  [skapare] 26 aug, 2018 @ 23:46
Basically when a model is used in a cinematic, such as a cutscene or on the campaign map, it needs a cinematic model or the unit will bug out like crazy. Same the other way, you can't use cinematic models in a normal battle unit or it will bug out like crazy.

I haven't done it for ages, but I'm pretty sure that all you need to do is create another slot in the variantmeshdefinition, and that test_general rigid model to it. The model is either invisible, or just the eyeballs of a unit so you won't be able to see it either way but basically it should mean that a normal unit will work properly in cinematics - i.e. it won't be in a T-pose on the campaign map.
Havie 26 aug, 2018 @ 12:03
Alright Caligula, I can not figure this out.
What is a "cinematic model" ?
The resource files gives me a blank rigid model called "test_general" I dont understand how replacing this blank skin file instead of my generals actual arms will fix anything, when I do it , my general just shows up blank.

can you be more specific please?
Caligula  [skapare] 25 aug, 2018 @ 22:00
Arena just used the same skeleton as Rome 2. To get the models working on the campaign map and not doing the T pose, you'll need to add a cinematic model to them. This mod should help: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=510167911
Havie 25 aug, 2018 @ 20:53
here you guys go, that updated campaign version you're all looking for :

https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1493184924

@Caligula, thanks for the models, how did u get them tho- rigged yourself from TW Arena, or did TW arena use the same skeleton as R2? because SOME of these models are stuck in T-pose on campaign map only. battle works fine. unsure what the deal is w the variantmesh file.
Eric the Red 17 aug, 2018 @ 16:39
@Caligula thank you!
Caligula  [skapare] 17 aug, 2018 @ 16:34
Yeah sure man.
Eric the Red 16 aug, 2018 @ 22:17
@Caligula I'm working on something similar, would it be ok to incorperate parts of this mod into mine?
Caligula  [skapare] 13 aug, 2018 @ 23:52
I've quit modding. You can feel free to try learning to mod though, its pretty easy.
MadGAD 13 aug, 2018 @ 13:21
Man, we really need tha mod back! =)
appa99 5 aug, 2018 @ 12:19
It does not work anymore
Caligula  [skapare] 7 maj, 2018 @ 17:04
I don't have Wrath of Sparta so wouldn't be able to test implementing it, plus I'm ♥♥♥♥ at campaign modding.
dorsey717 7 maj, 2018 @ 16:58
is there any chance you could update this mod for wrath of sparta please. would be greatly appreciated. great mod btw, i really enjoy it
