Yup, they were before Snowfall! We had a mod that made snow on the ground, but you had to get snowy trees and buildings with snow on them. They're still fully funcitonal. This one ^^ is basically useless because it's just the vanilla with snowy tree items, but for example Christmas Tree Farm is nice... the vanilla trees look odd in winter

No, you just need to know PhotoShop/gimp. The mod only modifies the textures (e.g. Replace green leaves with snow-covered branches)

Hey boformer!! Good to see you! I would love to do that, and have wanted to model trees since day 1.. but I think that would require me to be able to 3d model, right? I've gotten to the point of being able to make the basic tree or basic house shape, but I'm totally stuck on the UVW texture wrapping. I can't even get menu items to activate sometimes lol sigh. I've tried Blender and 3ds Max, too. That's why i have been editing vanilla buildings (because I really want the snow).
Your mod sounds fantastic (!!! exciting !!) but I have no idea whether I have the ability needed. I would love to help out if I can.

Hey!

Instead editing all of the vanilla buildings, you could help me to create the Winter texture pack.

I plan to add support for tree textures, so you just have to create "snow" textures for the existing trees.

And with my mod, you can also add snow on roofs.

It is a much cleaner solution than republishing all assets, because players can just apply the snow textures to their existing cities.
