What we really could use is a Magpul PDR-C (w/ STANAGs instead of the custom magazines) for Mk 18 mod. That would fit in a lot better since it has around the same length barrel as well as the same calibre.

For all who want to enjoy it too (the scoop version)
it wasen't working on linux steam. Walk around:
1. Download alternative file
2. subscribe
3. go to your foulder where you got your steam applikations (mine is user/ .local/share/Steam/)
4. in steam foulder go to steamapps/workshop/content/222880/529665650
5. replace insert / replace the file with the one downloaded.
6. enjoy to be one of the few Upper Ecolon members :D

The port is at the front and the casing eject to the side the moment they breach the port.

As far as I know, the cases eject to the side, and the location of the ejection port is accounted for.

I'm a fan of this one, but it is a bit annoying how the cases still eject out the side instead of the front as they actually do with this weapon. Is it possible to change that?
