Great mod! Spawned next to Attila, and no other civs. Those Heqa-Khasut really saved me. My spies names were Khamudi, Sakir-Har, Shezmu, Tani and TXT_KEY_SPY_NAME_TCM_HYKSOS_0

This mod is causing crashing issues when played on the Nile Valley map with all the civs. It would crash on turn 9. Possibly due to some comflict with it's starting position next to Pi-Rameses

@TarcisoCM That is the more usual translation, yes. Mountainous lands (literal meaning) indicating they are foreign. Also this is where the Greek term Hyksos comes from. I don't know if the Hyksos had better technology: their dominion over Lower Egypt coincides with the demise of central authority in Egypt. The sources aren't particularly clear about the technical details, but Syro-Palestinians were already living in the Nile delta (partly immigrants, partly captives). So the Hyksos may just have filled a power vacuum.

I thought it meant “chiefs of foreign lands”? That was what I was aiming to represent with them, Hyksos chiefs who had better military tech taking control of Egypt, and spreading this tech there (Fortifications). Them being a Chariot Replacement is there to represent that the Hyksos introduced them to Egypt.

@TarcisioCM I appreciate the UU and its ability, but hekau khasut means "ruler(s) from mountainous countries". It doesn't really have anything to do with chariot archers.
