release a version without reticles

I'm having problems with custom reticles with this. :) Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. What could be the culprit? :) I'm pretty sure everything is in order on my side.

I've been using it for ages and it still works fine for me in cooperative mode against bots but some servers wont let you use it when your playing team vs team. If it stops working sometimes unsubscribing and re subscribing fixies it.

@Rymd, I'm sorry man I don't think I'll compile for 1x red dot, I'm done with insurgency for now ... switched to other things... may I suggest you the c-more sight...it's very basic like the barska check my workshop

What does this replace? I hope it's not the kobra sight coz I love the kobra sight. Hate the red dot sight though, coz RIP pheripheral vision whenever I use the red dot sight.

Works fine for me. Would like to see this recompiled for the Aimpoint, though.

For anyone who might not like the included reticle: download GCFScape and unpack everything inside into a new folder, but delete the reticle .vtf. Find vpk.exe in /insurgency2/insurgency/bin and drag the folder on top of it. Move your new vpk into /insurgency2/insurgency/custom and voila - no custom reticle!

Could you upload the model without the custom reticle? Alot of us use crosshairs we do better with so imposing a crosshair on the model makes it un-usable

I wanted to extract the circle reticle so I could replace the Kobra one and use a different model with it.

Nah, SethSamson only did it for the M16's top and bottom rail.

My bad on the name thing. The other name I use for profiles has Gun-Guy in it so......again my bad on that, I wasn't paying attention to my profile.

@MinkSauce ..............Battle Proven?................You do realize that they dont even carry this IN THEIR OWN STORE anymore right? Seriously look up their online store, it isnt there. And no I didnt just check, look at my name, Im a gun NUT. this is considereed a cheap sight, and you will NEVER see this in combat, at least in the U.S. Military. Seriously we get better sights than this standard issue, Aimpoint Comp M2's M3's and M4's (not every unit has the same ones because the biggest difference is battery type and life). Hell I put an XPS2 Eotech and a 3x Magnifier on mine (and I'm not high ranking, just an E-3/PFC). I'm not trying to sound rantish or bash Odeca3d for making it, but It just gets old hearing this kind of ♥♥♥♥. And dont say we issued these because we didnt. we first started issuing ACOG's, then EOTechs, Then Aimpoints, And NCO's and Officers (and some team leaders[who are usualy an E-4/Specialist]) still get ACOG's. And it definately isnt bomb proof.
