Grandpa Major 15. Jul. 2022 um 6:57
Perfect! Just what I needed!
Nutronic 17. Mai 2022 um 5:43
.wav files are supported by other mods, I assume this is the same for yours?

I recommend getting sirens from the mods for 911 First Responders. Works Great from my experience!
Соединенные Штат 24. Jul. 2018 um 14:11

Werner 27. Jan. 2018 um 4:22
holy the only mod with euro sirens work not with green citys .....
TheCobraLP 6. Dez. 2017 um 9:44
Not compatible with Green Citys DLC. Prevents the Maps from loading.
Can you please update it?
Wico 26. Nov. 2017 um 0:29
Have you tried my crappy hackish howto?
Fløxi 25. Nov. 2017 um 9:59
@Wico
tried multiple times. doesnt work :(
Herr Katze 25. Nov. 2017 um 5:56
Wico, it doesn't work.
Herr Katze 25. Nov. 2017 um 4:08
That is so sad
Fløxi 25. Nov. 2017 um 0:24
Since Green Cities DLC, the mod prevents the Map from loading. Fix?
--JR-- 28. Okt. 2017 um 18:07
Any replacement for this mod?
TheCroshy 27. Okt. 2017 um 6:03
lets see, last update 2015 ... looks bad about a fix :-/
Elijah 21. Okt. 2017 um 5:56
Will there be a patch soon?
Would be pleased :)
Viss Valdyr 21. Okt. 2017 um 5:46
well done Wico!
Wico 21. Okt. 2017 um 0:49
I forgot to mention: I also changed the V10Siren.csproj. There I modified the "HintPath" for all the dll's to to point to the absolute location (e.g. UnityEngine.dll, ICities.dll and so on). But I'm not sure if that is really needed...
Wico 20. Okt. 2017 um 22:40
A correct fix would be: The original mod-author should recompile the DLL and upload it into the workshop. Looks like no code-change is needed, just a re-creation of the DLL against the latest version of CS.

[...]
6) Download everything from: https://github.com/V10lator/V10Siren and put it into your created "V10Siren\Source" folder.
7) Place the backed up .ogg files into the newly created "V10Siren" folder, but not into the subfolder "Source". Thus, Source contains the sources only, one folder up, you have the .ogg files.
8) Edit the .cs files in Source and remove the string "using ColossalFramework.Steamworks;" (or comment it out) as we dont use the Steamworks-Framework in our local mod copy
9) Start the game, it should work now
Wico 20. Okt. 2017 um 22:17
Okay, here is what I did to make it work again (yes, its ugly and just a dirty hack):

1) Install the mod via steam-workshop (I guess you already did that ;)
2) Find the files installed via workshop and make a backup of the 3 ogg files shipped with the mod:
V10FireSiren.ogg
V10AmbulanceSiren.ogg
V10Siren.ogg
Hint: They are somewhere in the Steam-Folder, under "workshop". Eventually here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\255710\435167188 (on windows)
3) Delete the mod (unsubscribe)
4) Go to your local addons/mod location and create a folder called "V10Siren". The location is explained here: https://skylines.paradoxwikis.com/Modding_API
5) In that folder (V10Siren), create a subfolder called "Source"

Causes a black loading screen after green cities update. :steamsad:
neilerator 20. Okt. 2017 um 13:24
How do I get it to work anyway @Wico ? Haven´t found a way yet
Wico 20. Okt. 2017 um 0:50
Ok, looks like the mod itself is still compatible, but the DLL shipped via the Steam Workshop needs to be recompiled for CS 1.9.

A workaround is to download the sources from GitHub and let the game recompile it on demand (on game-load). By doing so, the resulting V10Siren.dll seems to work.
Wico 19. Okt. 2017 um 7:25
Seems its broken with V 1.9 (released today)... :(
neilerator 2. Okt. 2017 um 14:20
Does it work with Ambient Sounds Tuner ? I installed the mod, overwrote the files with the German Martinshorn sirens but I don´t hear them ingame, I hear the normal sirens instead. How do I use the mod itself ? I can´t find something to turn it on/off besides the mod menu, where I turned it on but nothing happens.
Kyrazor200 1. Jun. 2017 um 15:27
@Darius, It is working for me
Kwengie 31. Mai 2017 um 16:27
Hallo,
Соединенные Штат 3. Dez. 2016 um 18:42
Does this work with the new update???
Kyrazor200 16. Okt. 2016 um 21:00
@Amiltonbr, This is where my file was located:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\255710\435167188
Nevesbr 15. Okt. 2016 um 14:17
I Can't fund the folder... and the file "V10Siren.ogg" ;( Where is?
Kyrazor200 29. Sep. 2016 um 19:34
Finally was able to add my own files, so now I have my own American Sirens. Thank You.
dRuPpI 29. Aug. 2016 um 21:53
this mod is on its own.. not for ambient sound tuner
Vatti1231 23. Mai 2016 um 13:13
Doesnt work, cant change to the sirene sounds in the ambient sound tuner!
Соединенные Штат 19. Mai 2016 um 12:24
When I use the sirens the police siren works fine yeah. And then after a while of gameplay all the police uses the ambulance siren which is extremely annoying.
DutchArnold 27. Feb. 2016 um 18:57
these sirens are so bad i think i just got cancer..
Europe has no idea
Hullian111 8. Feb. 2016 um 23:47
@Linkku Looks like you need Kra's good ol' Ambient Sounds Tuner!
Sepulchrum 27. Dez. 2015 um 14:21
For some reason I keep hearing the original sirens in game despite subscribing and activating this mod. :(
Viss Valdyr 11. Okt. 2015 um 9:54
New Soundpack: Österreichische Martinshörner. RTW und Feuerwehr wie in Dt. Polizei wurde angepasst.
Hitchman 6. Okt. 2015 um 18:30
This is the siren I want modded https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZE3bKm1V9w
GordonDry 26. Sep. 2015 um 17:21
I don't remember if I asked before as request:
Is it possible to implement a fade-in / fade-out so the sirens get louder when an emergency vehicle comes near and vice versa? Perhaps over 64 grid squares offset from camera position?
So the player can hear it coming when zoomed in fully (with enhanced zoom mod / fps mod) when a police car is 64 grid squares away?
When zoomed out, it's less loud so the distance is lower.
GordonDry 26. Sep. 2015 um 17:17
It works with AD, just tested with the soundpack "Deutsche Martinshörner".
Xeron 24. Sep. 2015 um 8:04
Is this mod compatible with the After Dark DLC released today (24 September 2015)?
Please update
Viss Valdyr 10. Sep. 2015 um 0:06
download in soundpacks: Deutsche Martinshörner (Polizei, Feuerwehr, Rettung).
German Sirens: Police, Firefighters, Ambulance
[501st] Col. Overlord 21. Aug. 2015 um 17:30
The sirens work fine. I imported my own sound files that are .ogg and after about 15 minutes of gameplay the police revert back to that awful siren sound. I don't know why
