XMod will let you acquire the inventory without needing to go into the map, I agree the way it's setup out of the box is stupid.

These two addons do what I'm talking about:

They add an item to your inventory, that you use to spawn the weapons into your possession.Letting you pick and choose which weapons you want.

To those asking if the guns can be used in the main game: yes they can be, just grab them and then exit through the tunnel where you spawn and it'll teleport you to your trailer. But the question i have is, Where can i get more ammo and can the weapons be made to share ammo with the base game weapons?

these weapons are the best in my opinion. only one that needs a little bit of tweaking is the sniper rifle. your view snaps back as soon as you shoot a bullet
