This tree is causing CSL to crash on the pre-menu load. Not sure what is going on there, been flagging a few mods today that have been causing issues.

I just updated this today! I fixed the shading problem that After Dark caused by editing the normals. They should look like they did before now. I also changed the trunk of the tree to be a bit more round and added a color map to add brightness variations. I updated all the trees that look like this model. Enjoy! Sorry if they don't look exactly the same as they did before, I had to adjust the scale and probably didn't do some correct rotations. :chirp:

MrMiyagi, the biggest hurdles for me to overcome were how to UVWmap and to Import it into the game. If you have any questions just ask I can help you and also point you in the right directions.

Wait, what?? Wow, yours look great! I got to the point where it was a nice looking tree in Blender, but it never imported correctly (showed up, but was blank). I think I know what the cause is, but it will take some more determination to overcome that learning curve. Thanks for the helpful links, and the advice!! It is greatly appreciated, and I will try this again.

Mr Miyagi, I've only been 3d modeling for 1 month. It's actually easier than you think. I started off by watching this tutorial series on 3dsmax... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwRkkGzA98k&list=PLA12BF2F8CC489A50&index=1

Then I also found this tutorial on how to texture my materials into a uvw map (single bitmap image). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrUHDyk_he0

Then I browsed the Paradox forums on how to Import a object using the asset editor. I'm sure you could do it if you really wanted to, it's not hard. I learned the basics with that series I linked and then now whenever I want to do something specific I just search for a tutorial on what I want to do and learn more techniques along the way.

LOVE your trees! I wish I could work in 3d modeling, but it's beyond me. Your tree is in my Asian Scholar's Garden. Looks great!!
