@Aurelian - Hi there, Tabletop Simulator is first and foremost a physics-based system and the rules are entirely enforced by the players. Buying a card is as simple as taking your tokens, putting them back into the token bags and taking the card you want.

Hi. I just bought tabletop simulator today, mainly to play valeria with family living abroad but...I don't understand how to play.
I can move items, roll the dices but I don't understand how to buy cards. Is there some tutorial somewhere? I googled but found nothing.

Nice implementation - tried it with my buddies the other night and it worked great.
However, the "Randomize all objects in this area" seems only to apply to the domain cards. Nothing else changes.
Also, the bags for strength, magic, and gold will not take stacks. The stacks just stay on the top; one at a time works fine, but it does slow things down a bit.
Would like to have the victory point counter pieces as well...

@RadKit - Oh my gosh, how did I not notice that. I must have left some cards there last time I updated and replaced some files, they didn't even have working card backs. Thanks a lot for the heads up, I've removed the broken monster deck and pushed out an update. Everything should be completely normal now. I hope you enjoy Valeria, it's one of my absolute favourites.

Hi, I'm brand new to Valeria and wanted to try this out. Right off the bat I have a dumb question... why are there two rows of monsters instead of one? Thanks for uploading this, already pretty sure I'm gonna like Valeria and buy a physical copy.

Is there a way to play Valeria on Steam? I'm new to Steam and can't quite figure out how to get games I'm interested in and this is the biggest one I'd like to try since my copy won't deliver until 12/31/17 due to some other preordered games. Ugh. I want to play it before then.

Ok, thanks. I thought you were connected to DMG actually which was why you uploaded all their stuff. I've been a backer of every Valeria campaign (and an adventurer backer for VoV). I was mostly curious to see if my face was going to end up in that mod at some point. :)

@Hestiansun I get permission directly from the publisher to make all of these mods. This particular mod has been updated because the expansion is being funded on the 18th and when I upload the mod for that everything needs to match up so people can mix and match the content.

So to sum things up, on October 18th I'll be posting up Valeria Card Kingdoms: Flames & Frost and users who are subscribed to both mods will be able to mix and match the cards for some decent replayability. (And the expansion is awesome, trust me)

Unless VoV gets a large expansion it's unlikely I'll end up updating it from the original PNP files. I'll definitely ask the publisher about it though, even if it takes a while after release it's always nice to have a more polished version.

Woo hoo! I'm glad to see this updated. Will you be doing the same with Villages of Valeria when that is done?

For those who check the comments but not the changelogs, this mod has been updated to include the final versions of all of the PNP content it previously provided. The tokens, dice and cards are now closer to what you can find in the retail version of Valeria: Card Kingdoms.

You won't regret it if you grab it. The full version is pretty dang great, certainly one of the best games in my collection in my eyes. If you're looking for some similar games, I upload the PNP of everything Daily Magic produces. Might be worth a go. :)

Sorry Joe, they got rid of all the backups and aren't selling any form of PNP anymore. Wish I could have helped more.

Well, at the moment there's no existing download for the original print and play files that this mod is based on, having been removed since the game's full release. I'm reaching out to the designers to see if a version still exists for you. Hopefully it hasn't been deleted from their systems altogether.

The alternate citizens are not available in the free print & play that this mod uses. Unless the creators of the game release an updated version I will not be adding more content to this mod. It is intended as a way to try before you buy, not a replacement for the actual release.

This mod was released with the permission of the game's creators and I would like to stay on their good side.

could you import the alternate citizen card in the mod, the game is very nice, the card are high rez that also nice. But the game itself might become repetitive without alterante citizen card.

This game is great, and the modder did a great job porting it into Tabletop Sim. 10/10
