I use a variant of this where the on ramps are on the inside of the roundabout. I have found this improves traffic flow tremendously by allowing vehicles to utilize both lanes of the roundabout and delivering traffic out of the round-about sooner in most cases.

It definitely took a while to get the ramps where I wanted. It's still not 100% what I wanted, but close enough =)
