LOVE IT!!!!! Very spaniard like and has a dash of conquistador like fashion. Which kinda reminds me of how prevalent inquistors were in that culture. I will say that this model does resemble other characters from elsewhere so try to emphasis a more dark and holy appearence to this character that is unique ONLY to dota. You're close, believe me, but tune it up just a bit. Make us feel like he's on a total mission to ban and rid magic from the world. There should be nothing "happy" and "light-hearted" about this business. Great work, tune it up buddy. I want to see this published

I wish more sets were like this, this is very outside the box compared to the average mage ideas for Silencer. Problem is that alot of people don't like it because its not lore related, do I have to remind everyone of the Onyx Lotus set for TA?

what really sells me is his beard and hat, he looks like one of the few "pretty boys" (the only ones being Skywrath and... Kunkka? i guess.) and he looks awesome, id buy this (if mol was up)

Okay so we have seen all of the threads on reddit etc. about the number of sets that are coming into Dota that are too cartoony and or out of character for the hero (i.e. The Dota pit Pudge set) however my problem with these set is not that the sets are somewhat out of character but the fact that they are all too similar to League of Legends skins. The Pudge set looked all too much like the League champion Urgot. This set looks all too much like Twisted Fate and I know that when Dr. Mundo got a set that very closely resembled Axe that everyone in the Dota community threw a shit fit. I just don't belive that this set took near as much thought since it is almost a direct representation of the League hero. I am gonna have to say no go to this set for reasons.

Actually, the best set for silencer i have ever seen, it's like the usual silencer is just a ranged combination of Antimage and invoker, but here, u have something... something undescriptable, not another dota 2 hero set, it deserves more, maybe particle effects? cinetic gems?

doesn't fit silencer in the least.

also the shield and glaive clash with the rest of the set. it's like the parts are just supposed to look "cool" but don't mix in together very well.

also don't like the icons - i prefer the more subtle colors and details of the originals.

I Play silencer a lot, and this set reminds me of the Spanish inquisition which in my opinion makes him loo like even more of a badass

I play a lot of silencer and this is fucking awesome. Most Silencer sets have him looking like a glorified penis. This makes him look like zoro or some badass.

I love it to be honest. It's not lore-breaking and it brings a fresh look to an old favorite. But sadly there's going to be those fanatic spastics shouting "hurr durr we lol now"

It's a great idea and I love the set and the details. Plus with that lower body piece, there'd be less clipping. He unfortunately clips with a lot of his lower body cosmetics. It's not a serious issue but it's awkward when I'm trying to record cinematic scenes from a game.

Only thing I'd actually change (though I still don't really mind it) would be the shield. A smaller shield with an energy/magical field emanating from it would seem to fit more for a set that makes Silencer look like a gunslinger.

For those complaining about lore, maybe in Dota 1 he was elven but looking at his Dota 2 bio... it doesn't say that anywhere.

Nice outside of the box thinking, I like it, and it's not lore-breaking in the slightest. My only worry is some people not immediately recognizing the hero.
